In summary

Rocky Point Golf Course is frequently praised for its scenic waterfront location, well-maintained grounds, and friendly staff, offering a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. The course layout, with its open fairways and large greens, is appreciated by both novice and experienced golfers. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow greens, occasional wet conditions, and the ongoing clubhouse renovations, which can cause minor disruptions.

This was a beautiful course! My group played in the rain and the views made it still enjoyable. The par 4s and 5s added a nice challenge and kept it interesting! With the course's location and nice grounds, the price is amazing. I highly recommend playing this course if you get the chance!

Considering it has rained everyday, and no one knows how to fix a ball mark this course is in great condition. I don’t know who the super is but he has definitely kept this course under control and it’s much appreciated!! Best course management in Balt county hand down.

Beautiful golf course right on the water near Essex. Classic old course. Long with large greens. Course in great shape, but greens were very slow. Pace of play somewhat slow, but it is a public course in the afternoon. But, saw eagles, herons and ospreys while waiting, so time went by well. Overall, excellent experience.

Rocky point is a challenging Golf course but it tends to stay wet. They are rebuilding the Clubhouse at the moment. So things are a little bit chaotic. It's certainly worth playing.

This course is just fun to play, even after getting all that rain last night… still in great shape.

Course is always in decent shape. Only downfall is 7-9 minute starts. Always feel rushed

Great 👍🏽 Golf ⛳️ Course. Open fairways and challenging enough to keep you engaged. Staff was friendly. Carts had coolers and nav in them. Worth the green fees!

This is a very scenic course with some very wide and challenging greens. The pace was good as well. Looking forward to going back to play again.

Beautiful course with moderate level difficulty but great fairway & green conditions even in the winter months. Wish we had discovered this course sooner but we've been maximizing visits through the colder months!

Rocky Point is a good value, especially if you are a rookie golfer. The course is long but mostly open. There are some water hazards, but nothing too treacherous. The fairways are in decent shape, but the greens are in rough shape. Very playable but many sections of dead grass and various bumps and divots. Two holes are right on Back River which is nice. It’s not a fancy course, but was challenging enough for a newcomer like me.

The course was in great condition considering the heat and humidity from the Summer weeks. Very pleasurable day of golf.

Drove 20 minutes to practice & they were doing “maintenance” to the range. Mind you, They have turf mats, what are they maintaining exactly? (Nothing was being worked on & the range was covered in range balls) Are they painting the yardage signs? I’ll be sure to call the clubhouse to check on the range from now on at this joke of a course, Maybe focus on doing maintenance on the course you charge $60 a head for, y’know the one crators on every green & lop sided tee boxes?
