Rocky Run Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and unique layout that integrates natural areas with surrounding developments. Many golfers appreciate the challenging back nine and the overall enjoyable experience. However, some visitors report issues with course navigation, slow pace of play due to large groups, and inconsistent customer service, particularly regarding tee time management and staff interactions.

It was a fun course! Check it out! We were lucky to find the one day it didn’t rain! The course was in great shape!

The wings are great and the course is in good condition. There are just too many golf course residents who jump on whenever they want. They also allow 5-somes and sometimes 6-somes to go off. It's a gamble finishing a round of 18 after 4:30.

The front nine is fun, and well kept. The back nine beat me up and stole my lunch money.

The staff was great but the course needs work. It shouldn't take a group of 4 twenty minutes to find hole number seven. Please put up more signs! Some of the holes are a ways away from the prior green and unless you are a local good luck finding it without help. Also, please putt lightly. The greens are about as hard, fast, and dry as a pool table. I will admit this was my first time ever at the course so this is only my first impression. It is a Great Life course so I'm sure I will be back when I run through all the other local courses but my initial impression was not great.

Great course! Fast pace of play, fat greens, and well maintained. Don't let the easy layout fool you, the are plenty of places to get into some trouble. When I'm back in South Dakota this is my go to course!

Staff was terrible, the group of 5 that I was in were constantly hassled about slow play even though we were letting groups pass and the club house approved our group of 5 when we booked the tee time. One staff member had the nerve to say "shut your mouths" when we tried to express our dissatisfaction. I can assure you that myself and everyone in our party was respectful through the whole discussion. The course was nice but not great. Local members are definitely favored over out of town players. Because off all this they have lost my business and I will not be returning. I would advise others…

Course was in amazing condition! It’s laid out a little funky if you’ve never been there, but doesn’t take anything away!

We booked two tee times with three people each and ended up playing a scramble with 6 of us to keep pace of play. We consistently kept up with the group in front of us through 14 holes and then a message popped up on all three of our carts saying "no 6-somes allowed" I would completely understand asking us to split up if we were holding up groups behind us, but I was not impressed with the impersonal big-brother-like enforcement of a rule for the sake of rules. Feels like a power-hungry course marshal hiding behind a keyboard.

My best friend called and arranged a tee time is. We got there before the clubhouse opened and watched one of the employees drive across the golf course in the dark in his pickup. He then got on a mower and started mowing the course. My friend was told we would have a 7AM tee time and we waited until 7:15 for someone to open the clubhouse. When we went in to check in the person who waited on us basically called my friend a liar and said they didn't start tee times until 7:30. When we asked if he had us down for a tee time he said no. We asked if that meant we could not golf he told us we could…

Greens are very well kept. Golf carts are fantastic. Somewhat difficult on the back nine. But one of the more fun courses in the area!
