Sawmill Golf Course

We played August 31 - the course was extremely busy and we ended up going off on the 10th tee. The pace of play was on the slow side and it took almost 4 1/2 hours to play 18 holes. The course has excellent practise facilities including a driving range, multiple flagged targets, a chipping green where you can even practise bunker shots, and of course a separate putting green. I hadn’t played here in over 20 years - honestly couldn’t remember a single hole. I found the course in so so shape - some bare/brown fairway areas and the greens on the front nine had been aerated but not as yet filled…

Great golf course hidden in the heart of the region, very beautiful layout to the golf course! Played the course during the summer and the fall, everything is always well maintained! Greens have a quicker pace to them, fairways play very nice, the sand traps are well groomed! The tee boxes could be a little more even and a little more maintained, but it seemed like the work was being put in towards the end of the season! Very friendly staff, great food always available, beautiful patio near the 1st and 10th tee boxes! Would definitely recommend to any golfer! Got to see a huge snapping turt…

Beautiful course, tough but not too tough, very challenging. All staff is friendly and helpful from the pro shop to the clubhouse. Well run, very organized, lots of social events and a great junior program for the kids (combines both hockey and golf instruction for juniors).

Great club. They offer a variety of junior programs. Coaches are great with kids and making learning fun. Reasonable rates

Fun course to play should finish in a little under 4h if u aren't stuck behind a slow group. Little harder to walk so if that is a issue for anyone in your group then you should get them a cart

I recently got back into golf this year and I’m so glad I chose Sawmill! Their practice facilities are outstanding, the course is always beautifully maintained, and the greens are in amazing condition. What really stands out though is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere — from the staff to the members, everyone makes you feel right at home. Took women's beginner lessons here in the summer, and pre-teen son also took lessons in the fall. The schedule is great, the price is great, and instructors are great at getting you motivated and sharing their knowledge. I would recommend it to anyone.

Played at Sawmill Golf Course on a Saturday afternoon and will definitely be back! The course was beautiful and very well maintained!

Great course. Excellent condition. Odd they dont have ball washers at any holes. Plus the holes are poorly marked. Tricky to find the next hole sometimes when it was our first time there.

Sawmill is hands-down my favorite place to golf! The owners, Carrie and Jeremy, make you feel like part of the family the moment you arrive. Proshop staff and servers are always professional, friendly, and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The course itself is absolutely gorgeous and so well maintained — even with a lack of rain this summer, it’s green and lush everywhere. I always joke that Jeremy and his crew never sleep, because you can always spot them out on the course working hard to keep it in perfect shape. Couldn’t ask for a better golf experience!

This course in my opinion is the best in the area. Fairways and greens are always in top condition. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There are waiting lists not only for memberships but for leagues.
