In summary

Shadow Brooke Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, unique layout featuring an equal mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s, and its friendly, accommodating staff. The course offers excellent value for money, with many golfers appreciating the improvements made over recent years. While the course is generally well-regarded, some visitors have noted issues with wet conditions after rain and minor maintenance concerns like uneven tee boxes. Overall, it provides a pleasant and golfer-friendly experience, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors.

This course is a great value and the improvements they have made the last couple of years have been great. Shadowbrooke is unique because it has 6 par 5's, six par 4's and six par 3's so you can go low if you are hitting it well! The greens are always consistently good and course management is working to make the experience better each year. I highly recommend trying it out!

Last week was the last 2 person scramble for the season. We had not played in one so we gave it a shot. Well, my teammate got a hole in one on #9 to win a skin. The whole night was a great experience. We will be back next year to try it again. It was a well run good time!

As I’ve been playing Shadowbrooke over the past four years, I have noticed the ownership has been pouring money into the golf course itself. You can tell that they want it to be a fun and challenging round on very good conditions. The staff is also very friendly and you cannot beat the value!

Tyler has done a great job of communicating and creating a fun environment for golf, puts on biweekly tournaments and the course has really improved over the last five years. Very walkable, offers challenges, but also playable for the average golfer! Really enjoy coming out here.

Fun course with reasonable rates. Really good layout with and extra par 5 and par 3 per nine holes. Makes it different from the average course you play. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent place to play golf. The course is fun, with a few short holes and a few quirky challenging holes. And the price is fantastic. Great place to play and worth the travel time.

Had an excellent experience at Shadowbrooke Golf Course! The driving and chipping ranges were available before my round, which was a great way to warm up. I only had paid for 18 hole, but only had time to play the front nine due to work, but the staff was kind enough to credit me for the back nine. Friendly service, well-maintained course, and a very golfer-friendly experience. Highly recommend!

SGC is a nice course, somewhat generous in its layout. Interesting that it has 6 par 3s, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's, but I like the idea. Course was very wet after some heavy rains although they didn't restrict cart usage. It rained off and on the day we played and didn't care for the idea of not having drop down protection for your clubs. No GPS but almost everyone has range equipment these days, probably helps keep the green fees down. Flat course, greens are pretty undulated. Would play again in dryer conditions.

Easy course, flat, with nice views. Ground hard, as they dont water much. Greens and fairways have damage from balls and carts respectively. But open almost year round. I golfed there every month of 2023 and most of 2024. Rates ok.

Very enjoyable playing experience, tree lined fairways, large greens, dramatic layout, great condition, with improvements in progress. A good value in a country course!
