In summary

Shady Hollow Golf Club is praised for its beautiful and challenging layout, with well-maintained greens and fairways that offer a variety of picturesque views. The course is described as a hidden gem with a unique design that requires strategic play, appealing to both experienced golfers and those seeking an enjoyable round. While the staff is generally noted for being friendly, some visitors have reported issues with course maintenance and isolated incidents of unprofessional behavior, which detracted from their experience. Additionally, the absence of a driving range is mentioned as a minor drawback.

Really enjoyed this course. It was definitely tough. Although no sand in site, plenty of water though, particularly on the front nine. We lost the battery in our range finder, so our distance control was bit off, and the 10-20+ wind made almost every shot a challenge. The par three we're exceptional, especially 6 and 18, over a ravine and and island green, respectively.

Hidden gem off the beaten path! A challenging layout that'll cost a couple strokes until you have a couple rounds in the bag, but not punishing by any means. Greens are receptive and have character. Beautiful surroundings, picturesque views. 18 is a great closing hole! Friendly folks in the clubhouse.

Nice public course. Very challenging and one of the more difficult courses I’ve played. Spectacular holes with great views. Good value as well. The day we played the pins were in some rough spots. Several holes were so hard that if you were above the hole you most certainly would roll off the green if you missed the cup. I’d like to play this during peak season to see how much different it would play.

I had an excellent experience at Shady Hollow. The course was in fantastic condition—greens were smooth, fairways well-kept, and the layout was both fun and challenging.

What a neat course . The groundskeepers are doing a tremendous job. And the layout is one of the most unique I’ve ever seen . You have to carefully select each club as yardages and undulations even in the fairway requires careful decision making . What a challenge and what an incredible place to play . never seen anything like it . Enjoyed every minute of it .

Course is very bad condition, need so much maintenance, club neither have facilities of ice nor water. Staff was not that much professional. Its hard course but fairways are really in bad shape.greens are challenging but most of the green have a lot of ball mark .All over I would not go there back.

Absolutely gorgeous course. The greens were in great shape, and the fairways were well mowed. Challenging enough to be interesting but not intimidating to newer or higher handicap players. A lot of the holes require creative shot making, but nothing impossible. One of my favorite courses ever, and I can’t wait to come back

Not a real long course but challenging non the less. Many tight fairways and dog legs. If your driver goes over 220 yards don't use it on 7. There is water at the end of the fairway. Great views and the course was in great shape. No need for a tee time through the week not sure about weekends.

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses on earth! It is a stiff test but the natural beauty is amazing!!! The staff and ground crew are very friendly. A true hidden gem!!! White T's are a little short. Blue T' s play around 5900 yards. +/-. ENJOY

Friendly staff, tough course but beautiful. My son and I started playing here this year. Shady Hollow is our favorite course to play together. All this course is missing - Driving Range. Would be really nice to hit a few balls before going out to play, after a long drive.
