An Exceptional Golf Experience! Short Hills Golf Course is hands down one of the best golf experiences in the area. The course is beautifully maintained with lush fairways, fast greens, and a layout that challenges all skill levels without being overwhelming. Every hole offers a unique view and test, and the peaceful surroundings make for an incredibly relaxing round. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure your visit is top-notch. The clubhouse is welcoming and offers great food and drinks—perfect for relaxing after a game. Whether you’re…

Course was well maintained, greens were running super smooth, nice fairways and rough. Bunkers were even raked that morning. Staff was kind and helpful. Range was also very nice. Played 7/26/23

I went here for a meeting. The building is hard to locate if you're a first timer like me. It's perched atop a hill that I can only image would be impossible to climb in the winter. The food that was served was deliciously toasted garlic bread, salad w/3 unlabeled dressings, green beans, mashed potatoes that were a bit runny and some type of chicken with a red tomato type sauce that someone said had rice in it. I definitely was NOT thrilled about the food. The only drinks served was coffee and water. Nothing else was offered. Dessert was missing as well. For this to be a country club house, it…

Overall the entire place is severely outdated and poorly kept. The course is overrun with weeds and in walkable/drivable paths. The club house hasn’t seen an upgrade since the 80s at least. And the staff at the charity event I attended last year had no idea what they were doing. The course ended up covered in garbage and litter because there wasn’t a trash can in sight.

Staff were great very attentive and cordial. The course is very challenging and was in excellent shape. My wife and i played because my dad was a caddie there back in the 1930s. I know the course was redone since then but it was neat to know we were walking some of the same ground he did. We also ate dinner there that night and were very pleased with the food as well as the service. We definately recommend Short Hills.

Course is average at best. Restaurant is a far cry from back in the day. On top of that they usually have available about half of what is on the menu. Management is running this club into the ground like it's their job. They are more interested in finding new members than taking care of their current members. I joined the end of June a few years ago, received half off the amenities package due to joining halfway through the year. This year I have decided to find a new club and knew I was cancelling so I paid half of the amenities package for half of the year, but they insist I owe for the enti…

Greatest day ever for my son, Chris' bachelor party. Several members joined the scramble. Course was in PGA-ready shape! Perfect!lightning quick greens too. Bartender, Evan, made great beverages! Cart team awesome too. A huge THANKS to everyone that made this day possible.

Pool area and locker rooms need updates. Paint on the back of the black chairs was peeling and stuck to our backs and clothes. Lifeguards and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Don't play this course, don't join this club. The golf course is in very bad condition, it needs a lot of work. Tee boxes are in bad shape. Bunkers are unplayable, not raked, grass and weeds growing in them. Greens are patchy and spotty. Very disappointed, not what I expected from a private country club. I have played many more public golf courses that are much better.

Golf courses in really good shape although the rough needs thinned and shortened. It's pretty difficult for the average player right now. The Facility is still nice although aging. But still a pleasant visit
