What People Say

In summary

Silver Creek Golf Club, particularly the Birdie Ranch course, receives high praise for its beautiful mountain setting, well-maintained fairways and greens, and welcoming staff. Visitors appreciate the challenging yet fair course layout and the excellent food and service provided by the event staff, especially for special occasions. However, some golfers have noted issues with the condition of certain greens and the lack of a beverage cart, while a few have expressed concerns about pricing relative to course conditions.

What a nice golf course in the mountains of eastern Arizona. I found this course and its sister course by accident and certainly glad I did. This is more of a wide open course. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Friendly staff. Nice size driving range and putting green. Highly recommend to beat the heat of Phoenix and Tucson by going up to Show Low and playing Birdie Ranch

Very few golf courses at this price point don’t have this level of design and beauty. This course blew me a way with its course design for the money. The course was challenging but fair and was a blast to play. The greens were perfect and were really fast if you’re above the hole. The fairways and bunkers are in near perfect shape. We paid $55 for a 3pm tee time which is a tremendous value for the course and the conditions. It’s a must play!

The Birdie Ranch Golf Club is in great shape and provided a lot of fun. Golfed with some great people and golfers living in the area. Sand traps were holding water from the previous nights rain but not a huge problem. The maintenance crew was friendly and busy, and their efforts showed. Loved all the bird species, Cedar and Juniper. Some great views from the course. Will golf here again and recommend it to friends.

Really nice golf course. It is always in fantastic shape. Greens are fast! Those with a true handicap under 10 will love the greens and the challenge! The staff is very nice, especially the bar staff. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Fun course. High desert grass lands makes it challenging. Greens run like Usain Bolt at a track meet. No beverage cart. Tee'd off at 1050. Never saw one.
