Sleepy Hollow Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, challenging course layout, and affordable green fees, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers unique design features, such as elevation changes and strategic hazards, which add to its appeal. However, some visitors have noted that the course maintenance could be improved, with issues like inconsistent fairway conditions and occasional waterlogged greens. Additionally, there have been reports of slow pace of play and mixed experiences with customer service.

Great place for our annual family reunion golf scramble with less experienced golfers. The staff are nice and cordial. Great way to spend an afternoon at a laid back environment. Fairways and greens are a little rough but perfect for us.

This places was a pleasant surprise. I stopped here while traveling and it was worth the stop. It’s a challenging course with plenty of hazards and narrow fairways. They had cool periscopes to see some of the greens over tha hills. The staff was friendly and nice. The only issue we had was there was so much water standing on the green on a few holes, after tithe sprinkler that we could barely walk on the green let alone putt. It was only about 3 of them. Other than that I would recommend.

First place I ever struck a ball. This place is my golf life. My dad, my brothers, and even my sister grew up here. I saw the course a week or so ago, and it was magnificent! You tell that greenskeepe that I know he uses a golf ball to set the pins. Lol! Almost pristine. I remember they switched the back 9 and called it the front 9, and now its back to how it was. Maybe it was a tournament day?

The course was not to bad. It is a nice lay out. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The maintenance crew could be a lot better because when went the course was not maintained. The grass was so high you could easily lose your ball in the fairway which is crazy. There was so many dandelion on that course you could not use yellow balls. The maintenance crew should be ashamed I have never played at a course that the fairways and the ruffs were not kept up on.

Sleepy hollow has some very interesting holes. The greens were in decent shape for this time of year. The tee boxes and fairways were in dire need of mowing and maintenance. Green fees were very reasonable but you get what you pay for.

Sleepy Hollow is a hidden gem nestled in Alliance. While it might not be the most pristine course in Ohio, its hole designs stand out. With unique challenges such as small elevation changes, risk-reward dog-legs that test your accuracy off the tee, and a few lakes—including one that covers your second shot on the front par 5—this course truly tests your game. I've played there three times, and the staff is consistently amazing and courteous. One of the biggest draws is the affordable green fees; I paid only $22 to walk 18 holes on a Saturday. The course also upgraded its golf carts a few years…

Might be the worst condition course I’ve ever played. Fairways didn’t exist. Everything was mowed the same length and the greens were the worst I’ve played in my life.

Played there 4/22. I really hope it was their first cut of the season on the fairways, or what I guess was a fairway? Grass is same length all throughout the course. Greens must have been punched late in the season because they aren't grown in at all. It was like playing out of rough the entire time. Had to sign a paper and leave my info because someone destroyed a cart. 😆 probably will never go back.

One of the worst conditioned courses I've played in a while. I believe they only water the greens. Fairways are bare and hard as a rock and primarily made up of weeds and crabgrass. It is a shame as the layout is fun. Conditions are holding it back.

This place needs some work, and that’s being nice. The tee box looked like my grandmothers back yard with all the weeds. The fairways were the worst fairways I have personally ever played on. They were bipolar, so many dry spots but then a drive would plug into the ground and I would play out of a swamp. The greens were just about the only okay thing on that course, they were fast. All around 0/10 will not be returning.
