In summary

Smuggler's Glen Golf Course is highly praised for its picturesque setting, challenging layout, and well-maintained greens and fairways. Many visitors commend the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the course's practice facilities and amenities. However, some guests have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional lack of marshaling, as well as mixed experiences with the clubhouse service and amenities. Despite these concerns, the course remains a popular choice for its scenic beauty and engaging golf experience.

Fantastic course. We played on October 9th and the course was amazing. Very challenging and dares you to go for it...When you shouldn't. Lol. Staff was amazing, food at The turn was quick and hit the spot. Bucket list course is now checked off. Loved the experience.

Played 2 rounds this past weekend as part of Stay & Play package. Beautiful course in spectacular condition! Golf staff are very friendly and tee times are spaced well to account for hilly and challenging nature of the course. Fescue is lush, and greens and fairways are very well maintained. Few ball cleaners though. Interesting pockets of bedrock - including the gully from the 1st tee to the fairway! Reminiscent of Muskoka Bay. We look forward to returning!

Great golf course with a challenging layout. The first hole is daunting and tough to tee-off especially with people waiting. The food at the clubhouse was ok and the drinks selection good. The staff were friendly and helpful. They could use a few more carts as they ran out of them.

This was a highly enjoyable round with amazing scenery, and a definite test of accuracy and skills. No two holes play too similar, and there's bound to be a challenge for every golfer on most holes. The greens were true, moderately fast, difficult to read but fair! My only critique, and it's minor, is that some of the tee boxes were not in perfect condition - perhaps the markers need to be moved more frequently?

A beautiful course that is well maintained. Great views and prestige fairways and greens. We were a twosome and finished our round in 4 hours and 15 min… the course was packed! Cart girl comes around frequently and the marshal makes an appearance.

Loved the course. Fantastic layout in great condition. Played twilight round. 2 groups playing on pace and the Marshall cruises by on 16 green and tells us that there are 2 empty holes in front of us. We were ON PACE according to the clocks. “Etiquette vs pace of play” was the quote. Why have clocks on the tees then??? Spoiled an otherwise great experience.

Challenging course with fast greens. Great layout with nice elevation changes. It's a course that requires your "A" game to play well. Definitely recommend it!

Went for Dinner this evening.....staff so helpful and friendly especially as I am Celiac [Gluten Free] but helped me figure out a meal I could have. The fries were great. Perhaps that same group described in another post was there this evening......loud young fellows using the F bomb frequently seemingly after a few too many "wobbly pops" was unpleasant and our only complaint or would have been 5 stars.
