Springdale Country Club

I play here 1-2 per year as a local. Course is one of my favorites in all of western North Carolina. The layout is fun and unique. The front 9 is where you pad your score and then you hold on for dear life on the back 9. It is a test of golf and well designed course. Staff is friendly (Mike in the pro shop was like an old friend my first time meeting him. I’ve heard great things about the restaurant from people I was paired with and other locals. I look forward to checking it out.

Great place for a family with kids! We really enjoyed our stay at Springdale. Our boys loved visiting the welcome center for hot chocolate and cookies and playing in the green space at the center of the resort. The facilities and grounds are impeccable and the restaurant had delicious food and a great ambiance. We loved the location and enjoyed many adventures nearby including looking glass, waterfall hikes, and sliding rock. We loved staying at Springdale during Thanksgiving week!! The Humming Bird villa was beautiful and just what our family needed. The layout was perfect for our family with the bedrooms on either side of the living room, one for my husband and I and the other for my daughter her husband and 2 kids. Having a fireplace was wonderful during the cold snap!! We had our 19month old with grandchild with us and Curt was extremely helpful when I had questions about what the units fireplace hearth size(so we could cover with blankets) and what had available in the kitchen since we would be cooking for Tha…

Stayed at Springdale during Thanksgiving week. Couldn't have been more impressed with the grounds and the staff!! Rocky Tavern was great! Ate there majority of dinners even though we had planned on only going once. My boys loved playing golf there in the afternoon. Shout out to the head golf pro Ashley for showing us such great hospitality and being so accommodating to my sons. Same to Wendy and Tamara at the front desk!! Wonderful people. My daughter loved the daily, fresh baked cookies! Robin suite was fantastic and served the needs of our family of 5. Already booked it for next year!

My wife and I booked this sight unseen other than website pictures and we were completely blown away. From the time we booked it to the time we departed, we experienced some of the nicest most friendly and hospitable people. Kurt and Wendy upon arrival to Matt at the Restaurant, they all went out of there way to make us feel at home. The villa(Robin) was phenomenal! Well appointed and nicely located to the village. Great experience at a beautiful location. The room s are very nice and well serviced. The golf course is in great shape and also well maintained. The restaurant and bar area was worth time spend there. Lastly, the pro shop was surprisingly stocked with great deals. So surprise that we will be returning!

Best Christmas vacation ever. The villa we stayed in was beautiful and the staff was outstanding. The resort golf course is amazing and the location is only a few minutes from The Blue Ridge Parkway. You won’t regret staying here.

We were looking for a nice reasonably priced resort close but not too close to Asheville. What a treat Springdale Resort turned out to be for us. If you are a golfer (which we are not) it was an exquisite course and club. The scenery was breathtaking. We got a golf cart with our cabin to go to the restaurant for our meals. We were only 45 minutes from Asheville and the drive was spectacular. The cabin we stayed in was extremely nice. The rooms were spacious. We had lots of options for the tv. Springdale Resort was a location we considered for a large family reunion (90-120ppl). The place is BEAUTIFUL, Curt in sales and Wendy are phenomenal (kind, genuine, flexible), prices are extremely fair (a great deal for the exquisiteness of the homes and setting)... so many more great things we could share about our experience at this place when we visited. We couldn't move forward with having the reunion here, due to specific needs in our group, but this had nothing to do with what Springdale had to offer. They truly would have cared well for us!
