I played St Johnsbury a number of years ago while on a vacation throughout New England. What a beautiful golf course with fantastic views and elevation changes! It was a pleasure to play. If I ever travel back that way, I'll definitely give it another go.

Incredible course!! I had played here over the years and can say it’s in the best conditions I’ve seen in a while. The staff was so quick and polite when I went in last, a young man named Silas helped me get checked in and got my drinks. Super excited to come back soon!

Super fun and challenging course. Unique layout that will challenge all golfers, not super long but demands accuracy and a number of forced carries. The course has improved dramatically this year. Greens are in excellent shape. Glad to see ownership is putting in the work to improve the course. Definitely worth playing if you're in the Northeast Kingdom.

The rudest staff I have ever encountered at a golf course in my life! I will never go back there. The way they talked down to my husband and I was just unbelievable. It was his first time golfing and just wow. It was the worst place for manners and customer service that I have ever experienced in New England! Go anywhere else. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

I remember my father golfing here years ago and raving about how great it was. This year I decided it was time to try it out. My wife and I golf around the area at several courses, and we finally went to St. J CC. The first trip back in June I was not impressed. Course was in disrepair, green were brown, Sand traps were unplayable. We decided to give it another try yesterday. I will say that all courses have struggled with the excessive rain so the golf cart paths were bumpy and sometimes tough to navigate. I did however see lots of course improvements. The T-boxes and greens were in much bett…

This course has good bone and could be great. Overall is wasn't in the worst shape but the greens were far to long, the sand traps were hard and the tee boxes we full of weeds. It took what would have been a challenging course and turned it into a punishing course. It is a hard course to walk since it is hilly and long. Made even harder by the lack of any water refill station on the back 9. I would have enjoyed the course more if I hadn't been dehydrated for the last 5 holes.

The course itself is beautiful and challenging. Unfortunately, the upkeep is subpar. Many of the greens had dead spots and minimal grass on the surrounds. Fairways were mowed but the Tee boxes and rough had weeds and dead spots. Overall, the course has great bones and the staff was great. The main issue is the conditioning. Never a good sign when your practice green is completely dead and unusable. Hoping they can get it back in shape soon.

If I could rate the course solely on the employees of the pro shop and restaurant, the review would be a 5. Unfortunately the course itself is in horrid condition...the worst I've ever played on. The greens and fairways have significant winter kill and fungus. The tee boxes are overgrown with bare spots and weeds. The greens are extremely shaggy from not having been mowed for several days. My husband had played this course several years ago and said it was a challenging and beautiful course. He was shocked by the condition it is in today.

Played here yesterday. The staff was very nice. However the course is in disrepair. Most of the holes have no signs to let you know the hole layout, some of the fairways were completely torn up, the green boxes shot more like bunkers, and the greens were full of divots. They did do some basic maintenance, like moving the grass, but otherwise I am not sure they put any effort into the course.

Restaurant has great options and great food. Course condition much better than last year, which was an outlier from flooding conditions. Decent course, great employees, and good food.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! This is the 3rd terrible run in I’ve had with them this year. My friend and I just booked a tee time for 5:09 PM knowing carts HAVE to be back by 7:30 PM. The owner then proceeded to tell me the last time I was there that someone had to come out and track me down to get my cart when I was sitting in the parking lot unloading my clubs at 7:10 PM! The cart guy came over and offered to take care of my cart, AT 7:10 PM!! This place is an absolute JOKE and will continue to be until it gets new ownership!! It’s so unfortunate the current owners run this place because they hav…
