Stone Creek Golf Course

This is a great little 9-hole golf course in SE Kansas, which I played in September 2024. It's well-maintained, challenging, and very flat. You can also play different tees to make playing 18 holes different for each nine. The only complaint I had was the pricing, which was $30 for 9 holes and $33 for 18 (weekend pricing, see photo). While $33 for 18 holes seemed reasonable, I thought the $3 difference between 9- and 18-hole pricing for both weekdays and weekends just didn't make a lot of sense. The food was good and the server was nice. The atmosphere was a little loud, they could use some sound absorbers on the walls maybe to help with all the echoing but was overall a good experience. I'm sure we'll be back!

This was my first time playing here. I had a great time. The course is pretty open and flat. It has some very big old trees and plenty of water. There is a restaurant and pro shop. Prices are excellent and there is six packs for $10. Pretty great!

Super course and staff. Very challenging 9 holes from white and blue. Well groomed course. Super nice big and fast greens. Wonderful porch to set and eat and watch golfers come in. Very reasonable prices too. If it were 18 holes it would be the best in south east ks.

Restaurant has changed hands to Coburns or Colburns and it is MUCH IMPROVED. Good crowd there, reasonably quick, friendly bartender, homemade pies. I am glad to have a decent place to eat lunch in a quiet and clean setting. Lunch was $20. But I was happy. The other places in Chanute will see me NO MORE. I am sick of Mexican food. and A SALAD BAR.

My wife and I were staying in Toronto looking for a quick 9. This was one of the best small town courses we have ever played. The staff is very friendly and the price was great. The course was in good shape as well.

Best condition of any courses I’ve played this year. Definitely a challenge from the two sets of tees (white/blue). Staff was super friendly and informative. A jewel of a place for an avid golfer.

Challenging 9 hole course . .o food available. City took over and totally changed. Still a nice,course but not as,it was before.
