In summary

Tamarac Golf Club receives praise for its friendly staff and challenging course layout, with some visitors appreciating the well-maintained greens. However, many reviews express dissatisfaction with the overall course condition, citing issues such as rough fairways, poorly maintained tee boxes, and unkempt sand traps. Additionally, some guests have experienced inconsistent service and found the amenities lacking, which detracts from the overall experience.

Very nice course to navigate and carts were clean and the guy behind the counter was very nice

Turning someone away saying no more carts tonight after just selling someone a cart directly in front of you is beyond disrespectful. Typically have a great time golfing here, past 2 times the same older gentleman has had an attitude. Don't enjoy the job then dont work it. I'll take my money elsewhere from now on.

Really Rough Course. Picture attached is all you need to know, "sand trap" right next to clubhouse. Not worth $28. Only good thing was pace of play, because of very few people on course.

Most of the greens are in good shape. They are receptive and are rolling well. Only 1 or 2 have some invasive grass. The bunkers were not raked for play, and the fairways were a little rough. Nice track, though with plenty of risk reward holes. And a few that make you play smart, or you'll pay for any mis-hit shot. Price was fair for the condition at $35

Course is getting a little rough, holes 3-4 can’t really tell fairway from rough. Still fun to play on, not with hard rough ground though.

By far the worst course I’ve played. Tee boxes were in terrible condition, Fairways were as hard as concrete and greens were somehow very receptive. The worst part of the whole experience was when I was on hole 1, this guy and his little girl drove by me 3 separate times staring each time. I get to hole 2 and the guy parks his golf cart right behind me as I was teeing off. He continued to follow me after I got off tee box, I asked him if he was playing and he said no so I asked him to stop following me.

Greens are decent shape. Other than that the course is much to be desired. Fairways are like hitting out of short rough, most time you think your in the rough even though you're actually in the middle of the fairway. Tee boxes look as if tees have not been moved in over a month. I didn't get in the sand so I dont know how those were. The condition of the course is definitely not worth what you are going to pay to play. It's sad as I remember Tamarac being a good course 15 years ago.

The worst shape I've seen Tamerac in a long time. Nothing groomed, no fairways defined, greens not bad ,but the course looked and felt like a rough back yard! I wonder, did they run out of money.

Paid for 18 wasn't able to get the 18 in with how busy it was. The old man in the club house said no refunds or rain checks for the 9 hole we didn't play. What kind of a policy is that?!

Okay course. Tee boxes can be frustrating with not being level. Several holes you are in firing range of other tee boxes. it can get a little scary on a busy day. greens are nice. Not my favorite course in Lima.

T-off 11:15 on Father's Day played nine holes and enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend it if you get a chance to go play 18 holes try it out.
