Money hungry course. Charged me $20 for a “1/2 cart fee” for my fiancée to sit in a golf cart and watch me golf. Outrageous! Sunset Ridge in Marcellus is a FAR better course, I’ve never been charge a stupid fee there. Tanner valley is always under construction and always soaking wet no matter the weather.

Owner drove us away over a small issue. I showed up during the week to play, called a buddy to join. I already had a cart, bag on it and all.. doing some chipping practice and all, when my buddy arrived. He paid his due and got a separate cart. I do understand that the con most golf course owners play about having to share a cart, even though we get charged an entire cart fee each. Okay fine, we don't mind paying a little extra to have separate carts. The "owner" (and I expect thats who he was, because I couldn't imagine an employee would speak to a customer the way he did) demanded we share a…

Played your course for the first time on a beautiful October afternoon. Wonderful course with plush fairways and greens that roll fast and smooth. A few holes are quite close together so you may have to wait to tee off until people on the other hole clear out

Owner is a great guy and making wonderful improvements to the course, driving range, and clubhouse. Can get a little wet during the spring but a great layout. Challenging and fun. Well kept. Fairway cut nicely. Beautiful in the fall.

Meh. Each hole felt like the exact same thing. Couldn't even finish 18, stopped at 15. For someone going to this course for the first time hole 8 is a little confusing. Had a nice convo with one of the grounds keepers and the carts were fast. Extremely wet and not many sand traps. There are better courses in the area for about the same price.

The course is in great condition and very beautiful scenery. The staff there are great and honest people. I forgot my rangefinder there and they found it for me and held it for a few days till I was able to retrieve it.

Charged full price and did not tell us that the entire course was soaked and sloppy and the 16th green was almost all roped off. Played the course before and enjoyed it, but not this time. Probably won't be back.

This place could use some better signage to indicate where the next hole is and which flag to target as some flags are very close. But overall it's a great place with both <200yd holes, >400yd holes, creeks to cross, etc.

$35 at sunday 2 pm to be followed the whole time by the owner and his head pro having a match play, followed by 15 carts spectating and a megaphone dbag announcing. Way better golf courses for the money in syracuse.

It's just overall a great place. The course is long, the scenery is awesome, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is great as well.
