Tartan Fields Golf Club

We had the best experience with Tartan Fields for our wedding! My husband and I are both in the golf industry and this team should be so proud of the work they do. Marybeth was incredible to work with from start to finish. She really made sure our vision was brought to life and I’m so thankful for her! She was so cheerful and always so positive. The food was absolutely incredible and every single person at the club always made sure we were taken care of. Thank you for making our wedding day the perfect day!

Kendra and her team are absolute professionals!! They made our wedding day run so smoothly! I have heard nothing but compliments from our guests on how amazing the food was, how kind and attentive the staff were and how beautiful the reception location was. Kendra worked with all of our vendors to ensure that on my wedding day all I had to do was enjoy myself and my guests. So many of our guests said that it was the most fun wedding that they had ever been to. And that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. This was a few years ago, the food was so bad. I hear the new chef is pretty good. If you play golf you would enjoy the club more.

Poor customer service!!!! We held an event here and event planner was “on vacation” during our event, general manager was apparently WAY too busy to stop in the event to check on us but was present in the building the entire evening. Specifically ordered plated food for severe allergies, kitchen staff had no idea such a request was made. Sound system “broke” night before so we had to use a portable speaker for speeches and videos. Food was cold and very bland. Thank goodness our bartender Cassidy was the only saving grace. Will go back to Muirfield Country Club for any future events.

We have been members for over 10 years and the service has gone down significantly over the past few years. The food at the clubhouse is good but the staff turnover is so high the service is terrible. The golf course feels like a public course now, it’s difficult to get a tee time (corporate owned so too many golf members ) and the cart paths are in horrible condition. The corporate owners of the club host public outings every Monday so it gets a lot of nonmember play which tears up the course…😬. Sad to see such a beautiful country club go downhill😢.

The layout of the golf course is amazing with a good golf staff and a few others who try their best across the club. Unfortunately, since the club is corporate owned by a company out of Texas (Arcis), the level of service, quality, and attention to member experience is lacking. The cart paths are worse than any public course you will play, the food/drink is VERY expensive ($17 for an old fashioned for example). A Challenging Golf Course and with the limited budget, the Superintendent does a great job. The club is overplayed and under maintained. The clubhouse gym is nice and is well managed. The F&B staff are wonderful people who are underpaid creating limitations of food and service quality. Ownership (owned by a golf course management company Arcis) continually over promises critical capital improvements and under delivers. Very picturesque! It's a well maintained course that was in very good condition for late Summer with filled in divots and true rolling greens. Hope to tee it up next year. Thank You!

We had the most wonderful wedding here! Kendra was amazing at helping plan the big day and made sure I had absolutely everything I needed. We had a brunch wedding and the food was incredible, the chef even helped accomodate a special need for one of our guests. The staff made the whole day flawless and we loved every minute!!

review My wedding took place on September 2nd and my experience was nothing but miserable and not up to par for the venue. The event coordinate Leah completely missed the mark on being there for us on our special day. It started with Rehearsal when she did not help or lead my guests on how to walk or prepare for the ceremony. She was snap-chatting in the corner and on her phone the entire time. Also it was agreed upon prior that we would be there at 3 PM on Thursday to bring our center pieces and other decorations to begin setting up and the room was a complete mess from a previous event. This club has so much potential, but is corporate owned and they do little to nothing to invest in the club. There is a constant change in management, the prices are outrageous with low quality food/menu options, events are non existent and poorly executed, and the service is awful! Arcis (owners) are constantly raising dues and making promises to the members for improvements and doing nothing to the club. We have been members for almost 7 years and it’s just getting worse each year!
