In summary

The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club is highly praised for its beautiful course layout, abundant wildlife, and friendly, attentive staff, creating a memorable golfing experience. The clubhouse and restaurant receive commendations for their excellent food and comfortable amenities. While the course is generally in good condition, some visitors have noted areas under repair and occasional slow pace of play, particularly during peak times.

Clubhouse restaurant is a hidden GEM for foodies. Enjoy fancy treats with a beautiful view of the golf course.

We played on a Tuesday morning and were very well looked after. Very friendly and helpful staff with check in and cart rental. Course was generally in very good condition especially greens. A few patches of fairways still recovering from previous weather damage but not a problem. Although the course is quite short, you need accuracy or the water will get you; it'sin play on all 18 holes!. We thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and will definitely be back.

Love this course. Been playing here since 1997. Was married on this driving range on a sunny afternoon in May. Haven’t been able to return since the hurricane and honestly I was pretty impressed with the overall state of the course. Clearly a ton of the vegetation was destroyed and some of the course is in a bit of rough shape but considering the place was under water - the place looked good imo. The only issue I had was with the old curmudgeon working the carts. I don’t understand why all these Yankees come down to retire and Florida and bring their crappy attitude. If you aren’t friendly and…

We had an amazing day playing golf at The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club! The course is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect mix of challenge and enjoyment for golfers of all skill levels. The scenic views of the surrounding nature and well-manicured fairways truly added to the experience. Each hole presented unique features, making the game engaging and exciting. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed from start to finish. From the pro shop to the course marshals, everyone was attentive and professional. The pace of play was just right, allowing…

Fantastic course. Very friendly staff and super courteous to my wife and 2 younger children. The kids were just along for the ride, which they allow for a small fee. To them, it was a nature experience! We saw more wildlife than most wildlife excursions. I think we counted 5 gators! Saved us a trip to the everglades! The golf course was in great shape. Pace of play was perfect. Especially for the busy season. The bartender gal even gave us some local pro tips on other area adventures to look into! Will be returning with my family again! Update 3/2025: we gave it a shot again after the hurr…

Yes, it’s a challenging course but we enjoyed ourselves. I rented ladies clubs and they gave me a new set of Calloways, which they should have since club rental was $85!! Definitely high. That’s as much as we paid to play. The club plays short and fast so that was nice with these temps. The greens are really fast and so small! We were disappointed we didn’t see any gators 🤣 Overall a great course and we enjoyed ourselves.

Staff are super friendly - we had great interactions with Genevieve, Jaxen, and Spencer in the pro shop, Jeff while on the course, Dwight in the bar, and Karl and Phil at cart return. The course is beautiful. I don't actually golf, just ride along with my husband and daughter, so I appreciated the wildlife, beautiful scenery, and to go cocktails from the bar. The course appeared to be challenging based on the number of lost balls and amount of water on each hole!

Fun course, bring lots of balls, literally every shot you take will have water in play, including some putts. Greens were in awesome condition, staff was super professional and friendly, got my butt kicked by an 11 year old and his little brother, holy cow lol.

Challenging course. Lots of water and bunkers. Real nice layout. Clubhouse is immaculate and great food selections. Beers pretty pricey, $28 for a 6 pack. Nice electric carts with GPS and Bluetooth speakers on them.

A wonderful place! Simply a dream. Very nice staff, especially Phil, responsible for the karts. The karts are brand new and very comfortable. The course has always been very nice, but it was completely redone after Hurricane Ian. It looks like the glossy brochure. Be sure to play! A little more expensive but well worth it 😄

My son and I had a great few days golfing here in February. The course is short, but very challenging for a couple of beginners like us. Bring plenty of balls, not only for the vast amounts of water on every hole, but for also for the many large alligators you will encounter and may require relief from. All joking aside, there is abundant wildlife to view while taking in your rounds. In addition to the alligators, we viewed iguanas and many birds. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff at the club are very friendly and helpful. The food and tap beers at the restaurant are worth a stop as wel…
