The Powelton Club

What a great club. The staff is amazing, the course and facilities are top notch, and if you can visit them you will want to join I am sure.

Classic old course nestled in the Balmville. This is one of the oldest courses in NYS. Although not long, the greens are always true and fast. There are some long par 4s into well bunkered greens. The place is well manicured as a private club should be. The food is good too

Beautiful club & historic, built in the 1880's. I was there for a dinner with the Mid Hudson Food & Wine Society. My favorite course, the dessert, Pumpkin Cheesecake, just yummy!

My first experience with the Powelton Club was 5 years ago when my brother and sister-in-law had their reception there. My second experience was a few weeks ago when I finally got to work a wedding at the Club! The staff was helpful, the dinner was great, and the grounds are beautiful! It's a lovely place for a wedding!

Our wedding at the Powelton Club was nothing short of amazing. The food was great and we got compliments all night. Especially the passed hors d’oeuvres and pub table during cocktail hour and the short rib entree for dinner. Rebecca was helpful, communicative, and organized. From day one when we toured, she was prompt and organized. Throughout the whole year we planned, she was constantly in touch. Our planning meetings were always super productive and I knew after each meeting what had to be worked on to be prepared for the next meeting. My husband and I got married at the Powelton Club last October, and we could not have asked for anything better. Rebecca and her staff were amazing throughout the entire process. We primarily planned our wedding with Rebecca, and she guided us every step of the way, being incredibly helpful. She answered every question, was incredibly organized, and detail-oriented. If i could give them more stars, I WOULD!! From start to finish Rebecca and her team were phenomenal. She's planning so much less stressful, especially knowing my fiance was away for the Army 90% of the planning process. I am an an industry professional myself, so exceeding my expectations far beyond is not an easy task. Mike and I felt incredibly taken care of all day long and it's because of the teams insane attention to detail that everything went so smoothly. I would recommend this venue to any bride looking to get married. It was the perfect day, with the perfect setting!

A very nice place to have your special event. The building is older with very nice charm. The staff was more than helpful. The staff delivered a wonderful meal and was very intentive of our needs at the table. The DJ Mixx Masters Unforgettable Entertainment was very good.
