In summary

The Preserve Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, as well as its appealing layout that offers a fun and challenging experience. However, many visitors have noted that the course is undergoing significant maintenance, with temporary greens and rough conditions affecting the overall playability. While some find the course to be a good value for its price, others express dissatisfaction with the current state of the greens and fairways, suggesting it may be best to wait until renovations are complete.

The staff was super nice. The corse is under construction and thank goodness because it was so rough ans filled with holes. But overall for the price my man and I come here at least 2x a month for practice before we go to the nicer courses.

I want to counter some of the bad reviews. They are making progress. Nice white sand in the bunkers although it could be a little thicker. The temporary greens were not bad at all. The layout is target golf and fun. But one of the best features is the staff. Friendly and accommodating.

The golf course has a fantastic layout but 16 of the greens are temporary right now. The greens are being redone and I expect it to be really good after they open them. The customer service was exemplary. Mack was terrific in the pro shop and made us feel right at home. Mike the starter was very helpful and made us feel welcomed as well. I look forward to playing here again after the greens grow in. Thank you Mack and Mike!

Thoroughly enjoyed myself at the Preserve on Jan 3, 2026.The Course reflected its continuous improvements. A well-monitored Course by the Marshall, who kept games moving along. Very nice scenery of homes sprinkled along the Greens. Pro Golf shop was well equipped. Great atmosphere at the Restaurant. Able to watch 4 Professional Sport Games simultaneously. Owner and Maintenance Guys extremely accommodating. Can’t wait to return to the Preserve.

Went here when I was on spring break with some friends. We thought we should go golfing because Florida golf is really good. We were wrong. This course is hot garbage. We pulled in and we saw that it was a part of a country club and so we got excited. As you can see by the pictures, the excitement quickly faded. I don’t like leaving reviews but I feel like I got robbed by paying over $50 to play this round of golf. Hitting the fairway was like hitting off a cart path. The greens had what was like a bunker on them, and a ton of holes for the ball to bounce on and be redirected. I have played on…

Just played today. We read all the negative reviews and still decided to play. Honestly was supremely surprised… yes it was bad at spots, but you pay $20 for 18 holes right now (cheap!) and it was worth just that. If you want perfect tee boxes and greens, go play the $120 round at the club. We saw at least 5-6 different green keepers working on the course. The course is laid out beautifully, and yes it needs some tender loving care, but for the price you won’t find a better value. Front desk was super friendly, starter was nice too. Only saw one other group, so pace of play was at our leisure.…

Wish I had read the reviews before we played there today. Everything written is accurate. Tee boxes are virtually non existent… greens are obstacle courses. I don’t understand what is going on there and how it can be in such poor condition and still be in operation.

If a Prison had a golf course this would be it. Also this might be where golf courses go to die. Greens have weeds growing in them. Tee boxes are sand play pits. This place used to be a solid course. Now it’s hot garbage. $65 to play is a should be considered FELONY THEFT.

Played this course regularly 10 - 15 years ago. Good layout Recently played 9 holes & found an unmaintained disaster: The tee boxes have little to no grass. The “fairways” are thin to bare ground. The greens all have multiple sanded holes. In them. Half the wooden bridges are rotted & in need of resurfacing or replacing. Even the old water fountain mid-front nine was nonfunctional & rusted. It is cheep compared to other courses in the area, but not worth playing.

Personnel at the course are friendly and helpful. The rate was reasonable for Florida based on the condition of the course. Most greens were in poor shape but they seemed to be getting greener.

I have never seen a course that is open for business in this bad of shape. Every green in the picture looked like that or worse. The fairways look like they haven’t been taken care of at all in months. The tee boxes were trash as well. Showed up early in the morning before my teetime so I can get some practice in on the range and they didn’t have any range balls. No beverage cart on the course. Their golf carts are on their last leg. Charged me $58 to play here. I will never come back. The current state of this course is such an embarrassment and for them to charge any money at all to play her…

Rough course conditions. Greens have sand patches where weeds may have been and entire edges with sand. So, they were consistently slow and rough. Many tee boxes are temporary. Good layout overall, though. I'd like to try it again if the greens were improved. A lot of wildlife, too, of the flying and swimming variety.
