We celebrated our wedding here in May 2025 and the venue is beautiful and so well lit with floor to ceiling windows and stunning greenery all around, a newly renovated interior, and a gorgeous bridal suite. Joe and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure that we had a perfect day as our coordinators. Tanglewood was our wedding venue for Sept 2025. Absolutely fabulous & would highly recommend. We had an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour was inside & outside and we finished the night inside, they have great indoor and outdoor spaces & the food was incredible. Beautiful bridal suite & a very cool space for the groomsmen to get ready including X golf. Considerably less expensive than other venues, I have nothing negative to say!! Book your wedding here!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Tanglewood Golf Course, entirely due to the completely unacceptable behavior of the course marshal. While playing the back nine, the marshal approached our group and immediately started yelling at us. He claimed he was getting complaints "left and right" that we were moving too slow and holding everyone up. He was incredibly aggressive and told us, "You have a group of five—three of you need to go up to the next hole, and two of you stay." Recently had a gala fundraiser at Tanglewood for my work in Chagrin Falls and it was fantastic! We worked closely with Joe in events, who was a dream to work with. He was a constant professional and helped us plan our event so that we had what we wanted/needed to make the nigh a great success. On top of that, Joe was a real joy to work with. The catering was delicious and the venue is gorgeous. We can't wait to work with them again in the future! Thanks Tanglewood & Joe!

We had my daughter's wedding last weekend at The Tanglewood Club and I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience! Joe Sugarman and his entire staff were fantastic! It was truly a magical evening and was everything AND MORE that my daughter envisioned! The staff were attentive and very laid back ... very friendly towards everyone! The food was fantastic ... Roughdiculous! Played on a cool early morning. None of the greens were rolled or cut by 10am, yet most had been sprayed with a fertilizer and green coloring. Nothing worse then having to hammer every putt and seeing a green water trail spray up on every one. However, the real issue on this course was the ridiculous height of the rough. Even the grass in the fairway was way too high in many spots. When your’e in the fairway and have to be on top of your ball to see it, the grass is too high. I asked the starter at the end of the round what was up with the rough he said it was to so much rain…

The Tanglewood club has an excellent layout having hosted multiple professional events in its history. It has fallen under some disrepair, but has recently been purchased by new ownership. This new ownership seems to have taken responsibility and is building up a very high quality location. I look forward to seeing the course come back into its former glory. Trackman simulators have been added by new ownership. It’s a great location with only two trackman so it’s moderately quiet and pricing is good!

The resurgence of the Tanglewood Golf Course is amazing! Having played here for 7 years, the improvements to the course over the last 2 years is nothing short of amazing. The design of Tanglewood is what I first fell in love with. I play this course 3 or 4 times a week, and the challenge never fades. It brings me back. I love the greens—elevated & with good speed. The staff is friendly & the grounds team does a fantastic job!

Golfed this morning and had a great experience from the friendly pro shop staff and starter to the great pace of play and a challenging yet fun course! We saw so many grounds crew employees out working hard the whole morning to maintain and perfect the course! Also the leaves are changing earlier this year so it was a really pretty scenery.

I felt compelled enough to leave a review about the service and venue. (Rehearsal Dinner) The staff was incredible, they had such a personable yet professional way about them. Outstanding service! The food was very good and the venue was beautiful. We booked this almost site unseen (just pictures) and it was well above expectation. Also, my mother in-law set this up and said they were great to correspond with. Thank you so much!
