Stopped in after the reopening and was seriously impressed! The food is very affordable — I got the deluxe smash burger basket for just $10, and it was excellent. Great flavor, cooked perfectly, and you definitely can’t beat that price. The cook even makes his own cheesecake, which is absolutely worth saving room for. Such a great homemade touch. The new owners clearly have fresh ideas and a lot of energy — trivia nights and fish fries are already on the schedule, and it feels like it’s going to be a fantastic new season for them. If you’re golfing or just looking for a casual spot with good…

First time playing here. Staff were great and very friendly. The clubhouse was a little sparse on the stock but the course definitely made up for that. I really enjoyed the layout of this course. Made me think about placing some of my shots rather than just teeing it up and letting it fly. Fairways were in great shape, greens were also in great shape. Some spots here and there but nothing that affected play. A couple of the tee boxes could have used some TLC but most of them were good. The bunkers actually had sand instead of the gravel mix you encounter at other courses. The cart paths were a…

Played this course today and WOW! IT'S GONE DOWN HILL! Almost all the greens and fringe are burned out and patchy due to disease and lack of care ie: fertilizer and water. I understand it's been a hot summer but if other courses can look amazing under the same conditions why can't this one? Lack of care for what they have is what it boils down to! Alot of the tee boxes and fairways are gone as well, patchy dirt and patchy grass as is the photos. The only fix is to reseed, fertilize and water. Which theirs no sign of that happening. I took photos (below). I had to stop taking photos because it…

Fantastic golf course tucked away east of Frankenmuth in Vassar. Very well maintained greens (fast but not unreasonable), and fairways. Provides that "Up North" feel and great vegetation throughout the layout. Friendly staff!

Great find! We had a blast on this course! It's challenging, but just the right amount for a seasoned golfer and a newer (woman who's been playing for 4 years) golfer with average skill. Great service, easy to book online, carts are awesome (fit your Stanley water bottle, your Good Boy, and your phone), and signage is perfect. Will definitely play here again if I'm in the area.

Very disappointed. Have played here and enjoyed it in the past. Fun course to play. My problem - my son and I traveled a bit to play here. Forecast was ok. On our 4th hole a storm popped up and down poured. After it passed we were told the course was now closed. Driving back to the clubhouse we saw 1 puddle of standing water on a fairway. Every green we saw was fine. At the clubhouse they pro-rated our rain checks. I get it if we had played more, but three holes? I asked for a refund explaining we drove a good distance and it would be difficult to get back any time soon. Nope. Fast forward abo…

Said they would call back (twice) regarding my gift certificate that has an expiration date too soon for the season and no one called. Why would we use an establishment who thinks so little of their customers that they can't even call back? (New owners) It's not even legal anymore to make gift cards expire, so why is this ok? No biggie. We will just go where they seemingly care.

I had the first tee time in the morning and the pro shop hadn't opened up yet... One of the grounds guys pulled up, let me in the pro shop rang me up and I went off to the first tee. he didn't have to do that and I didn't ask him to, just above and beyond service.

May 25, 2025 Well that'll probably be the last time I play this course. From The moment I walked in the clubhouse everything was wrong. Upon checking in we were told that they had no carts available and even though we had a tee time in 20 minutes there were 3 groups ahead of us waiting for carts to come in so they can start their round. At that point we knew we should've just left but it's limited in that area so we gave it a shot since we do like the course. Terrible mistake. Groups of 5+ all over the course, groups skipping holes and jumping in front of others. I think I counted 20 people tr…

WALKERS DON"T BOTHER!!!! The price now is $64 to ride and $64 TO WALK. This course is hardly worth the $64 to ride let alone walk it. There are courses equally as good or better for under $30 to walk in this area, that pricing is absolutely ridiculous. The clubhouse and course are not reflective of that price. Not only was the price raised SUBSTANTIALLY (walked the course twice this year already at $35 per 18) but the course was missing tee box markers, some entirely, the SPRINKLERS CAME ON FEET FROM ME while in the middle of the round (3p-4p while people actively golfing, horrible condition…

This course is in good shape and I highly recommend it. $30 for 18 holes in a cart is a great deal.
