In summary

Tubac Golf Resort receives high praise for its beautiful grounds, well-maintained golf course, and spacious, comfortable accommodations. Guests frequently commend the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the excellent dining options, particularly at the Stables restaurant. While most experiences are positive, there is an isolated report of a negative interaction with the owner, which contrasts with the generally welcoming atmosphere.

My oldest friend and I had a wonderful 3-day stay at the resort! Our casita was very spacious and comfy; all our meals at the Stables on-site restaurant were absolutely delicious; the spa is just lovely (Assistant Manager Garrett Jarvis was SUCH a delight!); and every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and it's clear that the resort works very hard to deliver a high-quality experience to its guests. A special shout-out goes to Nadia Montes De Oca, the altogether lovely manager of the phenomenal gift shop. She also is the buy…

Came here for the otero pop up ranch and had the BEST stay. The quaint Spanish atmosphere gave it so much charm. The views were gorgeous, especially with the addition of the cows and horses. The rooms were clean and spacious. Every staff member interaction we had was positive. The spa was amazing, I had one of the best massages I have ever had there. The owner was very attentive to our needs, including my young girls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Went to a wedding at this resort and it was Gorgeous. Quiet, beautiful. Love the history. The welcome dinner, wedding, and brunch … all the food was excellent. The wedding itself had a buffet and I was happily surprised at how good the food was. Buffet are not usually the best but this one was really good!

Great get away. Close to wine tasting, hiking, golf, artist colony, Amazing restaurants a bit remote if you want to unwind. Very authentic southwest experience. Need pickleball court and better online booking options for spa. New Year’s Day has sparse in town dining options, highly recommend riding their provided bikes through art colony. Very quiet and similar vibe to tesuque near Santa Fe and Sedona but not presumptuous.

Great resort on beautiful grounds. Definitely a place to host an event. It was serene, and the staff were kind and polite. Casita was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. A few things here and there could be improved. Coffee machine did not work, cieling fan and light remote were finicky. Restaurant staff could be more attentive to orders, bills considering they were not very busy. Overall a nice overnight stay.

This is an unusual review. I actually did not visit the spa or receive any services although that was the original plan. I had booked spa services for 4 of us to celebrate a girlfriend’s 50th birthday in Sedona. As I was researching “the best spas in Sedona” Tubac Golf Resort somehow came up. I then read reviews and was convinced this was the best place for my friends and I, so I booked it. The night before, while at our Airbnb in Sedona, I decide to look up directions to time our trip. I was completely floored when I realized we were 200 miles away. There was no way we could make it to our 9a…

Fun golf courses, beautiful rooms. I visit Tubac resort 2-3 times a year because it feels like an oasis in Arizona. I feel like I’m in California when I’m on the property. The stables always has fantastic food as well.

We did not care for the mercantile trade in Tubac, but the Tubac Golf Resort gave us a beautiful room, peacefully attractive grounds, heated pools, and a great restaurant on site.
