In summary

Valley Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained, historically designed golf course with challenging greens and a picturesque setting. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and excellent service, enhancing the experience for both golfers and event attendees. While the venue is celebrated for hosting events and providing quality food, a few visitors noted that the food quality could be improved, and some expressed difficulty in obtaining membership information.

We had our wedding here, and it was beautiful.. the staff was amazing… the bar area is beautiful, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed and we were truly able to have the wedding our way. The guys said the Golf Pro is one of the best in the area.

While it only tips out at 6200 yards, it is one of the best examples of A.W. Tillinghast with deep and often camouflaged/hidden bunkers, great routing that naturally flows with the land. Extremely well maintained! A true GEM!

If you hit every green in regulation….you could still shoot 100 . The greens are undulating, fast and unforgiving. 3 putts are good , 4 putts are average and 5 putts can happen.

This is an awesome place for a special event! Every year we attend the different seasonal events and each one gets better and better. Frank and Tanya do an excellent job ensuring the food is good, the staff is on point and the event does not disappoint. We finally have something fun in our area to do with small kids and a big family group!

Went here for a party. Place was nice, servers were friendly, food was good. I can't comment on price because we were guests. Parking was good. There was some issue with toilets being out of order but it wasn't a huge party so wait was short.

Played golf and had lunch on the patio. The golf course is extraordinary amazing. A 1909 AW Tillinghast design that is beautiful and in great condition. Lunch was very good, I had a cold beer and a grilled chicken sandwich. Perfect.

Unfortunately, this is a membership only place and they never seem to get back to you about becoming a member. Other than that. It is a really nice place and I wish it was open for the public at least one or two days a week in general.

We stayed in the parking lot as Members of Harvest Host and loved it. We barely got there in time to play 9 holes but they were so generous and welcoming. We all enjoyed the course very much. They actually located a set of kids clubs for our daughters to use too. We ordered carry out from the restaurant and everything was delicious. My husband and father in law had no complaints about their time at the bar either. We would love to come back at some point when we have more time.

Quiet stay at a well maintained golf course. Parked on an upper parking lot behind tennis courts nestled in a hill of trees. Had the area all to ourselves. We have stayed here before and played an enjoyable, challenging round of golf. Greens were beautiful but difficult to read and putt. There is a lovely restaurant with beautiful views and good food. Will stop by again next year when making spring trek back to Maine for the summer.

Had a wonderful outing there yesterday. Course is in great shape and the design is impressive. Clubhouse, pool and tennis facilities as well. The service was amazing and everyone had a great time. There was a club pro from another PA private country club and he liked it a lot too and was challenged as well. Lots of fun and the greens will keep you interested if you play lots of rounds there.
