In summary

Valley View Golf Club receives praise for its challenging and well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and enjoyable atmosphere. However, many visitors express concerns about the high pricing relative to the course quality, slow pace of play, and lack of amenities such as a driving range. While some appreciate the course's layout and facilities, others suggest exploring nearby options for better value.

Pace of play is bad and overpriced. Greens are quick, alot of undulations around greens and overall a tough course. Allowing more than 4 people to play is never a good idea!

I used to play this course for its convenience, but it’s no longer worth it. My last round cost $63 for 9 holes and a glove. The pace was painfully slow, stuck behind two fivesomes—a frequent issue here. The course quality is on par with a basic municipal track, yet they charge premium prices. Plus, there’s no driving range. Unless you’re okay with a 7-hour round of average golf, I’d recommend looking elsewhere

Fun course growing up, but they inflated the price so much it’s not worth it. You can play Fuzzy’s for $10 more dollars and it’s a much nicer course. If they come back to earth with their greens fee and ridiculous cart fee I’d adjust the rating.

When we arrived a cart was delivered to the car. They have very nice chipping and putting greens. It’s March and the course greens were so good. They rolled very smooth and fairly fast. Nice designed greens as well, very fun to putt on. Course was sneaky difficult. No driving range was one reason I didn’t give 5 stars. The other was the layout wasn’t that interesting. Overall a nice course to try and we will come back in the summer. I bet the fairways and around the greens are awesome then.

Not worth the $65 you pay only positive is the greens but the fairway is the most abysmal one in the area. You’ll be better off going somewhere else to pay same or less to get better conditions.

Played Valley View yesterday. Course was still soggy from recent storms. Had to keep carts on the path. course layout is nice. Sand traps were all mud. This is not a $60 per round course. There are far better courses not too far away for $10-$15 less. They seem to be a little too proud of this place.

Usually play here solely for the convenience but anymore it’s not worth it. My last round was $63 for 9 holes and the purchase of a glove. Only to be backed up by two fivesomes (common occurrence here). This course is equal to a municipal in quality yet they want premium price. Let’s not forget the fact there is no driving range. Go somewhere else unless you want to spend 7 hours for a round of mediocre at best golf.

I love valley view but I was very disappointed to play recently with *no* water on the course. It’s 90+ degrees with humidity and it’s slow to get stuff at the bar, it’s honestly dangerous. Tee boxes were pretty rough too but other than #3 green they were in good shape and pretty fast!

I used to love playing this course, but the last 4-5 times I have played there it has been terrible. In my opinion the course is not worth what you have to pay, with other courses nearby around the same price or a little more for much better quality. Pace of play has been an issue as last time it took over 3 hours to get through 9 holes.

Overpriced and only one out house on course. Forget water stations none

Overall very good for this time of year and with the relatively poor weather we have had. Greens were in much better shape than we expected. Our group will definitely return on a regular basis. In summary we had great weather, enjoyed the course and facilities and the pace of play was very good for a Friday afternoon round.

For some reason we’ve never heard of this course. I came across it when trying to find somewhere new to play. I just played Valhalla, and I truly have to say that I enjoyed the scenery , atmosphere, and conditioning of VV better and way cheaper. It was really one of the most enjoyable times we've had playing in sometime. The staff and even all the players we ran into were nice and friendly. Just a happy atmosphere. The price was cheaper than any of the public courses in the area. I highly recommend playing VV course . We will definitely go back and play again. Thank you for the service, MD.
