In summary

Van Buren Golf Center is appreciated for its affordability and casual atmosphere, making it a suitable spot for beginners and those looking for a quick round or practice session. The facility includes a driving range, a bar with a pool table, and a friendly staff, contributing to a relaxed environment. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and fairways, inconsistent operating hours, and occasional negative interactions with staff, particularly regarding the treatment of beginners and families.

Well priced 9 hole course. Greens are a little rough, but for the cost it's tolerable. I stay away after the rains, due to holes 7 & 8 on the opposite side of Van Buren being shutdown. But it is worth it any other time to me.

Old man on the range complaining about the practice green how it’s $45,000 cause my son was running around in crocs. This course has been a dump for decades and you’re crying about the crappy practice green that is longer than most fairways. You are the reason kids don’t want to get into the game. This course is the exact place to let kids learn and enjoy it. This isn’t a country club it’s a dumb executive course

Great place for the price easy to walk through. Hole 7-8 tucked under a tunnel but great layout.

Moving to Cali, I’ve been looking for more of a casual spot I can go to often to just hit balls. Love this spot! It has covered and non covered hitting areas, a quick course to knock out, and a bar with a pool table

Not sure why it still says there's a "grass hitting area" that whole section is gone because they added a new concrete walkway with just more hitting mats. Good place to hit a cheap bucket of balls tho

Love Van Buren. Great place for practice great people. Love the driving range and you can knock back 9 holes to get practice in. Fine forget about Brooks bar great people and regulars that make it fun to relax and chill.

If you’re not going for the bar, save your money. The nine hole course is terrible. The fairways are mostly dirt and the greens are no better. Seems like they haven’t taken care of the course in… ever!! If you’re thinking about playing at night, it’s even worse. More than half of the lights don’t work so you’ll be able to play 4 holes at most. They say the driving range closes at 11 but good luck getting a bucket of balls after 8:45 (6 on Tuesdays). Side note: a beer is 9$. Don’t bother coming here.

Had never been here before. Went to driving range and my son wanted to play pool outside. My fries sat in the bar to watch the dodger game. Was a cool little spot to hangout. Would recommend

If I could review this place a zero, I would. Right after we paid & walked to the bay the owner, Greg, said “I usually don’t like kids here.” I thought he was joking so I laughed but then he proceeded to say, “I don’t know how good you are, I will only allow you to hit from this bay.” I explained I had my husband and son with me so I needed more space. He said I could only hit from one bay if I had her. I have been to several ranges and this has never been an issue. In fact, they usually encourage family’s playing together. Isn’t the range typically the best place to practice fundamentals? Any…

Ok, if you are looking for top notch golf course, probably look elsewhere. This is a smaller course you can walk. We did that a few times and it felt like a great exercise! Workers here are very nice and friendly, place shows some wear and tear, and you can see some practice balls here and there. But the price is wonderful as well! We don't have to pay $80 a person to have some fun. I think for 2 players it's $40, very reasonable for a day full of fun! The bar is neat, try the nachos! they are amazing!

The course is cool for practice for the most part. Honestly with some funding and TLC it could really be a gem of a course for 9 holes. The driving range is where you want to be on Friday and Saturday night so I've heart

My son and I were looking for a new adventure, we drove by this place and decided to give it a world. We had no clue about what we needed as far as equipment or maybe reservations (first time golfing). I encountered a gentleman by the name of John at the entrance who was also Throwing an BBQ, I asked him if they rented golf clubs and he wasn't sure. He pointed to the shop and told us " if they don't rent them come see me and I will ask one my my buddies to let you borrow some of his" (they do not rent equipment) we went back to Jonh and his buddy who were the nicest people ever. My son and I f…
