In summary

Hidden Valley Golf Club is praised for its stunning mountain views, challenging and unique layout, and reasonable pricing, making it a hidden gem in Southern California. However, some visitors report issues with slow pace of play and management, with concerns about large group sizes and inadequate staff presence affecting the experience. While the course's natural beauty and value are highlighted, improvements in course management and customer service are suggested.

Hidden Valley Golf Club is magnificent 😉, period. Basically every hole here is designed with hazards, as basically it's probably the most hazardous landscape I've ever played golf in, cam totally imagine the effort they put in when developing this Hidden Valley course. Particularly some holes worth the spotlights, let's start from Hole 5, 190 yards Par 3, small valley in the middle, bunker in front of the green, big slope on the right of the green, need to aim left big time, otherwise with the headwind, even your ball go straight towards the green, might still ends up in the valley by the fr…

The views at Hidden Valley Golf Club are truly amazing—nestled in those hills with elevation changes and scenic backdrops that make it feel special. The course itself is a tricky, challenging layout that’s fun to play once just to experience it. That said, paying over $100 (greens fees plus whatever else) for a round that dragged on for 6 hours is not worth it. The pace of play was horrible—we were constantly waiting for two groups ahead to tee off on nearly every hole. We called the marshals multiple times, but nothing improved; it felt like no one was managing the course effectively. The pro…

Hands down the best value course in Southern California. You get stunning mountain views and a challenging, unique layout for a fraction of what you’d pay at the big-name resorts. It’s a bit of a "hidden gem" in Norco that feels much more expensive than it is. If you want a premium experience without the premium price tag, this is the spot.

Very beautiful scenic wild golf course with severe wind. When the sun goes down, there is no light, so you can't get back to the clubhouse after losing your direction.

A very fun and scenic course. The value is there for this course and has a great layout of holes. The views are amazing as well where they use the tee boxes for the views. The only downside was the greens and fringe which were not terrible but definitely not the best in the area.

We had breakfast here with my family, and everything was delicious. The service was amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We will definitely come back.

HORRIBLE PLACE!! - STAFF IS RUDE!! - DISCRIMINATION!! As the mother of one of the guests, I was very disappointed to hear about their experience at Hidden Valley Golf Club during what was supposed to be a special bachelor party outing. While I was not present, I am sharing my concern based on what my son and his group described. They reported feeling unwelcome from the moment they arrived, with staff interactions that came across as rude and condescending toward their inexperience. They also shared that the experience became increasingly uncomfortable throughout the round, to the point where…

One of the slowest rounds I’ve ever played. From the first hole on, we were constantly waiting on two groups ahead of us. Almost every hole turned into a standstill, and the pace of play was completely out of control. A big part of the issue was that most groups were 5–6 players, which just shouldn’t be happening on a course trying to keep any kind of reasonable pace. It felt like there was no management or enforcement at all, and it turned what should’ve been an enjoyable round into a 5+ hour grind. On top of that, service was lacking. We only saw the cart girl once on the front 9 and not a…

A very beautiful golf course. A tee box preparation could be a bit better.

This is a great course with scenic views at a great price, but how they handled tee times was very frustrating. We had a tee time at 9:20. The tee time before us was 9:12. That's fine and all, but it was THREE FOURSOMES at that specific time. I'm not sure how this was appropriate, but we ended up teeing off close to 10 due to this large group. The shop never bothered letting us know beforehand this was happening as well. Whole round took close to six hours..

We started at 11 AM and couldn’t even finish five holes in two hours due to the extremely slow pace of play. The marshall completely ignored us and made no effort to address the issue. They also don’t offer rain checks. While the course is visually beautiful, the service and customer experience are so poor that it’s simply not worth coming here. Strongly recommend avoiding this course.

I can't say enough about this place. For the sheer beauty, you get your money's worth. I was shocked at the reasonable price and the challenge the course offered. Some greens left a little to be desired, but overall the course gets a 8.5 out of 10 for me, and I really enjoyed it. Had vibes of Black Mesa from New Mexico, and rhe views were stunning!
