In summary

Champions Club at The Retreat is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, friendly and accommodating staff, and suitability as a wedding venue with stunning views. Golfers appreciate the challenging course layout, although some find it difficult due to narrow fairways and blind shots. This place is amazing for any who wish to get married here! Took care of everything and on the day of totally took care of my wife and I. Made sure we had enough food and constantly refilled my lemonade 😭 could not have asked for a better team. They made sure we were okay throughout the night and made our special night so wonderful. Totally recommend this place to any and all for any event you might have!

We attended a wedding, the venue is not large but very accommodating and the views are fantastic you can take awesome pictures from here. The golf course is closed, not sure when it will reopen. Great venue for meetings, weddings and special events. It is inside a private community so you have to stop by the guard to get in. The staff is organized and nice. Give them a try.

Pros: The pga pro on staff is a really nice guy, I've encountered him several early morning rounds and he's always been friendly. The course conditions are very good, I've played here several times and fairways are well maintained, and the greens are quick. Views are excellent and they do an excellent job maintaining the plant life. The pricing is pretty fair, especially considering for the quality of the course, I pay between $35-$50 on average. The food is great! Cons: Not really a con but this course is pretty difficult for the average golfer. Albeit, I would say half the course is pr…

Great course. It was in wonderful condition. It is quite challenging, but also very exciting with a lot of risk/reward options. We played with a woman as well and her tees were generous, so that was a good feature as well. Definitely want to play this course again now that I've got some experience. Also thanks to Earl and that staff at Champions for the advice and course tips prior to the round. Was great as we were playing the course for the first time.

Played there today. Definitely worth the $35.00. Conditions weren't terrible but definitely not what I expected either with millon dollar homes on the course. Played very well but wasted alot of shots due to never playing there before and just flat out hitting it in the wrong direction or just not choosing the right clubs. Cant wait to play it again now I know a little about the course layout. Sure still wish it looked like some of the photos I saw online.

First time and last time. I saw this place had an 8/30 rating on Google, but the price drew me in. The staff is great, very nice and accommodating. I'm a 7 handicap and I can say that no way Nicklaus ever designed this course himself, he would not put his name on it with the fair/poor condition it is in.... fairways had some soggy muddy patches. Most fairways had little living grass. Narrow, unforgiving, random blind shots, and uneven lies are more words to describe this place. You're either going uphill or downhill constantly. The greens were in good condition, however if you miss, you're rol…

Designed by 18 time major Champion Jack Nicklaus, who believes as I do....” every good golf hole force was the player to make a decision.“ It doesn’t have to be overly long, But of course it does require good shot making. It’s a great track.

Course was closing down the day we golfed, conditions were awful flag sticks missing, giant divots, shovel sized holes on some greens. Apparently the grounds keepers were only given a day's notice so they were pissed and sabotaged the course.
