In summary

Veterans Memorial Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and knowledgeable staff, well-maintained greens, and picturesque setting, making it a favored spot for both locals and visitors. The course offers a forgiving layout suitable for all skill levels, along with amenities like practice greens and a driving range. However, some visitors have noted issues such as inconsistent course conditions, slow pace of play, and limited availability of food and beverages, which can detract from the overall experience.

I want to give a shout-out to Mike in the pro shop. He is so kind to all! I really appreciate how kind he is to my young sons who have the 'golf bug' this year. Thank you for welcoming and encouraging youth to love the game of golf. Being greeted by whoever is behind the front desk at a course can make or break ones experience!

Not a bad course for a muni.... here are some shot of the back 9 holes but one of the biggest benefits of this is the Rv park (blue valley Rv park) you can walk up a small hill to get to the course. Kids had a tournament here and it was the perfect spot to stay at

As well taken care of as it can be. The fairways had dead spots. All the fairways were hard and fast, greens were fast. You can tell a lot of new golfers golf there, from the lack of bunkers, being raked and pitch marks left on the greens. The staff is very nice and friendly. It's definitely not a four star resort, but it is a good value and would probably be in better shape in the spring.

Mid August. What a sad state this course is in. The fairways are in horrible condition, dead grass in most places, hard pan dirt in others. I couldn't possibly recommend playing here. It's almost like they're trying to kill the course on purpose to build more houses.... Whoever is managing this course needs to be fired.

Went to a concert here, what a gorgeous venue! It was warm but not too hot and the sunset was gorgeous!

Vets will always be one of my favorite places to play in W2. The driving range is off the charts, and the staff is the absolute best. Make sure to play here the next time you are in Walla Walla.

Really enjoyed playing here. Greens were in great shape. A couple fairways were brown in some areas, but expected with the little rain received. Definitely recommend. Lost my Garmin z30 rangefinder today. Hopefully it gets found.

This is an all-around great course! It has FREE putting greens to practice on, an affordable driving range and a very reasonably priced 18 holes. It’s kept in pristine condition and the staff are really nice. 5 Stars

Awesome course! Nice fairways and greens. Friendly folks in the club house and out on the course. The course is pretty forgiving which makes it enjoyable for all golfers at any skill level. I will say, the bunkers are quite large but luckily, I didn’t end up in any during my round. Overall it was a blast!! It’s a pretty easy walk but some may want to go with a cart due to the topography and length of holes. For the price, you cant beat this place. I cant wait to play here again. Thanks Veterans Memorial Golf Course for the fun round!

First time I played here. Course was ok. Kinda easy. Some of the greens were rough. The worst was the slow play. Almost 5 hours for a round with not a marshal in sight. When I finally got back to the club house they wanted to chastise me for hitting into the group in front of me. The closest my ball came to them was 80 yards. Just a bunch of old guys golfing slow.
