Columbia Park Golf Course

Great par 3 golf course right along Columbia River

We came in with a couple of families and wanted to try out the course as we hadn't been here in years. The prices felt very high for a par 3 but we went for it and a large bucket of balls. The driving range, as you can see in the photo was almost unplayable, the guy next to me actually just picked up his clubs and left since you were forced to hit pretty much out of dirt. This kind of set the tone for the day, each tee box was very beaten up so we ended up teeing off way back from the markers so we could hit with decent footing instead of standing on divots that nobody seemed to be replacing.…

From a Disc Golfers prospective: This course really has something for each side of golf. 18 holes for Ball golf, foot golf. and now 18 brand new Innova disc catchers. The course is pretty well taken care of and has a brand new club house. $7 for 18 holes of disc golf and $10/person in a cart (optional of course). You are required to schedule a Tee time but that wasn't difficult and we were able to walk right onto the course (it's a Monday). This was my first time here playing soccer golf, the course is nice, i really enjoyed it. Wish there was one closer to Yakima but will be back soon.

The teenage boy with the cell phone in his hand and earbuds in his ears doesn't know when they are open and closed. We called to find out when they were selling the last bucket and he told us 7:45 p.m.. we show up at 6:30 and he says we stopped selling balls at 5 :30.??? I asked him why he told us 7:45 and he said "I forgot". Brilliant!

The 3 par course was nice. It was more expensive than what we are used to. Folf and foot golf were also offered.

Saved from the abyss by smart City employees/politicians! It combones real golf, disc (Frisbee) golf and "foot golf" (soccer ball kicked down field, eventually foot-putting into a 3ft wide circular ditch), offering something for every 'golfet' including a grill and bar. Way to go, Kennewick!!

Interesting to play on a combo golf, disc golf and ball golf course. Paying for a manicured course is definitely worthwhile sometimes. This is a long narrow course layout. It is not particularly challenging, with very open fairways, but it is fun. The only drawback to the park is that the course sits right next to a freeway and it is pretty easy to drop discs up onto the ditch or shoulder out of easy recovery range. Play those holes conservative and you will be fine.

The driving range is just dirt and mud. They do not effectively rotate the tee area. If you want to work irons go someplace else.

Played Foot Golf, super fun and awesome views of the Columbia River

Payed for 9 holes, with an 8:00 tee time, there ended up being a family reunion before(group of 6) me that didn't even start teeing off till 800, and half of there by the time I was able take tee off it was almost 8:45, and two more groups stacked up behind me. I made it 3 holes before I got tired of being pushed down the fairway.

Compact course, in decent shape for an older muni course. The clubhouse is brand new and very nice, service was very friendly. Only complaint is that there should be some netting along the holes that are against the road; some holes have both the tee box and green very close to the road and there's no net or anything protecting cars. I'm sure many cars have been hit by errant shots here over the years. Other than that though, great little course!
