In summary

Village Green Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a suitable choice for both beginners and those seeking a quick round. The course is described as open and forgiving, with some technical challenges that add interest. However, some visitors have noted issues such as goose droppings, slow greens, and a cashless policy that may inconvenience some players. Additionally, there are mixed reviews on customer service and course maintenance, with some finding the conditions less than ideal.

As far as public courses go, this is just about as good as it gets. They've put a lot of money into maintenance in the last few years, and the course is in really good shape. The fairways are open, it has two par 5, and the greens will challenge you at every hole. 1 star deduction for goose droppings, but otherwise, a very nice course.

Susan was there for us on a Saturday by herself serving my family along with my brother in from Boston who was craving Hansens Pizza and village green was the hidden gem that still makes them! Great service Susan!

Got 23 holes in today. Great deal and the course wasn't bad for December in Wisconsin! See the ice on Pic two and the ball. Play it as it lies, right?

Good atmosphere.....tight course. For a county or village course, I was ver surprised at the terrain and challenges; wasnt the easiest to play. For the most part, the course was cut well. The greens were somewhat long and weedy so rolled slow. The course layout was tight so people were commonly playing out of other fairways. Course clubhouse was ok with a small proshop. Rates were mediocre for this course. No logo ball for the course. It was ok due to the challenges to play with.

Seems like a really laid back course. There are a couple technical holes, but it's pretty open and forgiving otherwise. Tee boxes were a little shaggy, but honestly, considering how nice everyone was and the cost, it's worth playing.

Nice 9 hole course. It's been years since I played the course, but I like the improvements they have made. It's challenging but not too tough for a beginner.

Nice course to golf at I don't like a guess they're because they make such a mess. And I didn't go there for a few years I went there today and found out That a few months ago they went cashless. Can only use credit Cards A friend of mine didn't have a card We'll him , so I Add. to pay for Him And he paid me the cash. I would give the Chores a four star Because Of the geese But the reason I'm giving it a 2 star is because they want cashless. And the Cashless includes the cart that runs around the chorus with beverages. And I'm not sure if I'm going back to that course.

Overall golf course is below average and pricier than a lot of the other courses nearby. I’d say the worst golf course to play at in all of brown county and I’ve golfed at all of the courses in the brown county area. It’s a very hilly course with some water hazards with almost no wooded areas. Golf course definitely has a goose problem so if you’re walking watch out! There is goose poop everywhere so make sure you have a brush afterwards to brush off your shoes. A lot of divots and areas of the fairways and greens not being properly repaired/maintained. Sand traps are maintained decent though.…

This is a nice municipal track, especially for new golfers. Conditions were a little suspect; slower greens, tee boxes were a little beat up, fairways could be cut shorter. But still a great value. And they're building a really nice patio for next year. We'll definitely be back! Update 9-22-23: Patio is complete, really nice. Conditions remain the same although the greens had just been punched earlier this week. Update 6-5-24: Some wet areas, but easily avoided. Greens are in great condition but they are slow.

First visit. Had a great time. The course was in excellent condition. The green's were some of the best I've seen. The bar has a very good tap selection. My friend had a sandwich and said it was very good. But they ran out of tomatoes which disqualifies it from being a great sandwich. Will play again.
