In summary

VistaBay Golf Course and Chalets offers spacious chalets and a quiet campground with beautiful views, making it a potentially appealing destination for those seeking a rustic getaway. However, some visitors have reported maintenance issues with the chalets and dissatisfaction with customer service, including concerns about cleanliness and management's handling of customer complaints. Additionally, the approach to the site is noted to be challenging due to steep, bumpy roads, and there are mixed reviews regarding the overall upkeep of the campground area.

The chalets are large with three bedrooms, but they need some maintenance. Roof is looking not great, inside there are a few places where you can see through to the outside, and we were a bit worried about rain coming in, but it didn't. Shower/bath tubs, kitchen, etc. Were super clean as were bed linens and towels, but need new flooring in bathrooms and the cottage did smell a bit damp. If you enjoy cottages that are a bit rustic, you'll be fine here.

Nice and quiet campground. If you can make it up the 45% grade it is a beautiful view. The sites are tiered. The dirt road is very bumpy from the time you leave the pavement. Very cheap prices for full service. Centrally located, within an hour of most of the island and two hours from the eastern most point.

Horrible. Do not stay here. Rotting mussel shells and piles of trash are your first indication this campground should be closed

The Chalet itself is nice and cleanly although the service was very disappointing. The owners had little respect for their customers, and were discriminative against ages. The thing that bothered me most is that the owner was approached due to overcharging a customer and he did nothing to correct or apologies for the mistake. Very rude and all around a place that I would not return to.

... signage was bad ... drove up a dirt road ... no idea where the office was ... I had a bad feeling and turned and left ...
