Washoe Golf Course

I'm a first time player here and I have to say it's a bit confusing. No directional signs of hole locations, a cart path only day with cart paths that disappear and reappear on the other side of the fairway, and with ladies tees as far away from the cart path as possible. Many greens are elevated and are relatively fast so it takes some skill to spin your ball to control the speed. The course itself is well groomed and green with only a few holes with deep weeds where your ball is gone. A good course for experienced beginners or mid-level golfers. Overall I would play it again.

Had a good time up until we were getting pestered by the people behind us and the crew for “going to slow” even though we were waiting for the people in front of us. The grounds maintainece kids were very unprofessional and unnecessarily passive. Though I enjoyed the course, we couldn’t enjoy playing because of the constant pressure to “Play at a faster pace”… even though we played the entire 18 in less than 2.5 hours when average play time is 3.5-5 hours for an 18-hole course. The course was in good shape considering how dry it has been. The 90-degree from the cart path rule was in effect due to the amount of water used. There were multiple holes where the fairway was in a valley. Many soft spots where water collected. There was casual water in the bunkers. There were tee and green elevation changes that made the course more challenging with their wide open fairways. The greens were fast but fair. Great track especially for the price! Front nine is a little back and forth, back 9 is super fun, no holes are really alike. Greens were nice, couple infections on random ones, but nothing crazy. Fairways were really nice. Definitely come check it out!

Fair prices, nice driving range, looks like a nice golf course. Came in to hit some balls and the golf shop took care of me. It's close to midtown Reno so if you live close to it, definitely give it a try. Would return here to actually play the full course.

I've played virtually every course in the area, Dayton, Toiyabi, D'andrea, Fallon, Fernley, and this is by far THE WORST course I've ever played. The starter was legit but the little boy with brown curly hair that works the course, sure is a CRYBABY. AVOID THIS COURSE.

I have played this course all my life and it’s awesome amazing course with amazing prices.

Nice course to play 18! It's a pretty open course and mostly flat. The sand traps are heavy and the greens were recently plugged and sanded so putting was not that great, but overall it was definitely worth the $55 with a cart. Bring your own food and water because there is nothing available on the course.

Golfed here over the weekend. Love the place. Fun course. Not extremely difficult and everyone working there is usually nice. I’m not very good so accidentally hitting into people on opposite fairways as long as they hear a “FORE” they haven’t been upset. It was a gorgeous day and I only lost about 12 balls that I had found on other courses. It was an overall good day for ball loss and my score was awful as always but, I would still recommend it to anyone. Great place to golf and as it get warmer, the patio is really nice after a long round.

Giving them 2 stars because the last time I played this course it was fun and well kept. But this last time I went the customer service was bad. The young man refused to assist and was giving attitude when we asked him for help. I’ve never been to a course this bad service, normally people want to help you out and get you out on the course, except the guy at this course.

Great course! Decent shade and I appreciate that the pin is right next to the tee box of the following hole.

Great golf course! Not to expensive, the staff in the pro shop were really friendly. Course is in pretty good shape. Would go back to play this course again.
