What People Say

In summary

Wildcreek Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic and challenging layout, affordable rates, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers of all skill levels. The course offers both an 18-hole and a par-3 option, with well-maintained greens and abundant wildlife adding to the experience. However, some visitors report issues with slow pace of play and inconsistent staff professionalism, particularly regarding course management and customer service.

1st day of the new opening of Wildcreek. Looking forward to playing this with my wife. I am sure the renovations are going to be amazing!! Its been too long!

Great place for Seniors, Kids and beginner-type golfers. Walk-ins only, no T times. Good greens on this old Reno area course.

Very nice course (18 holes), but they don’t manage play very well and pack in golfers to maximize revenues. A foursome on the green, a group on the fairway, and two groups lined up at the tee box. It took 3 hours to wait around to get to hole 9. Too bad because the facility and employees are very nice. But a 6 hour round of golf is too long.

The Par 3 course is lots of fun and a great deal for the price. Very helpful if, like me, you want to work on your short game.

Difficult golf course. Very hilly. Lots of marmots and squirrels. Very pretty. Planes overhead all day. Enjoyed the day

If I could rate this establishment with zero stars, I would! The staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism, particularly the individual I refer to as the 'warden,' who was utterly appalling. This is a mild description of my experience. He should reconsider his behavior, seek help for his issues, and learn to treat others with respect and learn some self-discipline. I will not be returning to this golf course and strongly advise others to choose a different one in Reno and its vicinity. They show no regard for children or personal boundaries, making both children and parents feel unwel…

What a horrible place to try and have a day of relaxation. The staff are very rude and the guy that rides around in forcing the law can eat you know what. I would give this place 0 starts if I could there are so many other great places to spend your money and have a great time. With out being harassed.

Friendly staff. Cheapest rate in town on this particular day. Great views. Challenging course. In great shape for March in Reno.

Absolutely Beautiful course, layer out very well, extremely challenging, but also very fun!! Would love to come back if it survives!

The par 3 is in decent shape. We ended up being behind a 4-some that hit 6-8 balls off the tee. When we were in the 9th green, the marshall did a hurry motion to us and said to hurry so those can finish behind us. There was 20 minutes of daylight left. Never saw him the 8 holes before that to hurry those up that actually made us play a 2 hour round.

Usually a pretty good course and my go to. I tried to go with my dad on today on Father’s Day but when I got there they said that they didn’t have another twosome for us to go with so we couldn’t play and would have to be on the waiting list. We showed up 6 min late to our tee time and they told us we were too late for ours and the other 2:40 golfers were about to tee off. Why were the people we were supposed to be teeing off with teeing off 6 minutes late anyway?

Most staff are pretty unfriendly. Course is not bad but the price outside of twilight isn't worth it. Only real good thing is convenience with no tee time.
