In summary

Westwoods Golf Club is generally well-regarded for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and accommodating pro, Larry Graham, who is noted for his helpfulness and expertise. The course is described as beginner-friendly with a mix of par 3s and some challenging holes, making it suitable for a range of skill levels. However, some visitors have reported issues with staff demeanor, pricing, and slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

This is horrid. 27$ to hit off a mat, might as well go to rue range. Do better

Not the worst course, but the lady that answers phone and is in the pro shop can have a off putting demeaner, the pro is really nice and good at putting grips on clubs, never an issue with the pro.

Very disappointed with the major price increase on the driving range. In July a small bucket was $3.50. Went to $4.00 in August. Went to $6.00 this week. A 70% increase is ridiculous.

Nice course, good pricing, short and easy. Only downside is it gets extremely busy and the pace of play can be quite slow due to how heavily its trafficked. If you don't mind a slower round then this place is top notch.

Great course, the maintenance team keeps all 18 holes in great shape. You will not find a better Pro in the Pro Shop than Larry Graham...he consistently goes above and beyond to make your round enjoyable.

If i could give it half a star i would we had 12:00 tee time for the 4 of us we assumed we would get carts because we made a tee time… happens they were out offered us push carts we asked could we at least get them for free for the inconvenience mid convo cut us off and was very abrasive just incredibly rude pro shop host would not recommend this course certainly will never earn my business

Very well cared for, gas a driving range and anyone can use the putting green to practice chip shots or putts.

Have been going to this course for a few years now and I must say both the maintenance and service are excellent. Mostly par 3's but a few of them are more lengthy and challenging even for good golfers. The staff is always very accommodating and they make me feel welcome every time I play, by far the best service I've ever received from any course.

Wonderful public course. Today was our first time visiting this facility, we plan on playing many rounds next season. Stopped by the pro shop, and the staff went abave and beyond to help us with our questions and make us feel welcome. We were treated to a quick drive around to help orient us to the course, thanks Anna! The condition of the tee boxes, the fairways, and the greens are outstanding! Especially when you consider the late season and New England location. We may purchase season tickets for next year, so excited we stopped by.

Love this course. Its challenging yet easy to play for beginners or folks who don't play regularly. I love to walk the front 9, but when playing 18, you need a cart. Beautiful course, well maintained. Some drainage issues when it's rainy, but hey, it's golf, it's not supposed to be easy. Larry the pro is terrific. Very helpful

All holes are very wet due to the heavy rain almost everyday in CT 2019 Spring season. However, the staff are kind and friendly. It has a nice and huge practice green. It's good for beginners and seniors to play. Enjoy it once it dries well.
