In summary

Whispering Lakes Golf Course is appreciated for its reasonable pricing and friendly staff, with some players enjoying the course's challenging layout and well-maintained greens. However, many visitors express concerns about the poor condition of the fairways, citing issues like bumpy terrain, gopher holes, and sparse grass, which detract from the overall playing experience. Additionally, some players are dissatisfied with the course's maintenance and amenities, noting a decline in quality under new management.

$47 Saturday rate for 18 holes. Nice cart with GPS yardage included but you are pretty much playing off dirt all day. Tee boxes are mostly closed and they have put temporary boxes into the fairway. Cheap and dirty golf course not worth even the $47.

This was my first visit here, and overall, it's a nice course. The fairways are pretty bumpy, but the greens are in great shape. This a long course with far par threes and fours but a good challenge. They have a really good deal here with a round that includes a sleeve and taco. The staff at the Blue Bird are great, and Cassidy makes a must-have smoothie.

Tee boxes are in pretty bad shape. The fairways are in pretty bad shape. Greens were decent but everything else was pretty bad. Had this course been a par 3 I wouldn’t give it such a low rating. However, when it’s 400+ yard holes and the reward for a great tee off is a ball in a gopher/squirrel hole or a bad lie because of poor course maintenance, it’s just unacceptable. First course I play in Ontario and I don’t recommend it.

The Bumpiest fairways I've ever golfed. This year was very bad, the rodents are out of control. Ya'll need a steam roller or something. On a good note. The greens were fair.

Honestly one of the worst golf Courses I’ve ever played at , started seemed like he just go down chain smoking. And was unhelpful when I asked him to give me a handicap flag for our cart . He acted like he had never heard that before. Just all around a clown course wouldn’t recommend playing here unless you were new to golf and are okay with these problems

Enjoyable time with awesome people. My relative made me feel guilty for not coming to Riverside to play with him and his cigar Bros. after he had come to play with me and my CPT Men's Club crew. I was able to witness Enriques 1st birdie EVER here at Wispering Lakes and WIN closest to the ⛳️. Great course and memories made here. B☆

They're trying, the staff is nice and helpful. The course needs more work, the rain should help and a lawnmower would really help. Near the 60 is conveinent, a little close to the treatment plant but not terrible.

Course is old design. Very flat fairways small greens. Greens in good condition, very few bunkers with nice sand. Nice club car golf carts with newer GPS. Fairways turf is mostly weeds with no real definition between rough and fairway. Gopher mine field! Shout out to Suzzie for holding down the bar/snack/range ball facility.

Great update to the driving range, and the outdoor bar is a huge plus. The holes have been re-numbered, so what you see on the website is not updated. Overall we had a fun time, it was my first time playing a full 18 holes and I would definitely come back.

I always enjoy playing golf…until today. The fairways were in really bad shape, so many gopher holes and so bumpy. You almost felt like you were going to fall out of the cart it was so bumpy. A group 1 hole in front of us would set up a tri-pod to record their drives and was slowing the pace of play. The carts are very nice and new and the price is not bad but like I said the fairways and some of the greens left a lot to be desired.
