White Clay Creek Golf Club

First time playing here and the course absolutely humbled me—but in the best way. Even though I shot one of my worst rounds of the year, I can’t fault the conditions: fairways were pristine, greens were rolling true, and the layout is no joke with plenty of doglegs to keep you on your toes. It’s definitely a course that rewards local knowledge. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and having two cart girls out at once was very convenient. I’d definitely tee it up here again if I’m back in the area.

Let’s talk about check in and how weird it was - I check in, ask the guy - should I drive a cart back to my car or just walk by golf bag down to the cart?. He says “no, drop your bag at the front door and someone will bring it around for you so I walk back to my car, get my bag, walk to back to the building but drop it at the front door (would have taken me 30 seconds to just carry it to a golf cart here), then I walk back through the building to where the golf carts are and proceed to wait 5 minutes for a girl to bring my bag around. This course is awesome. It’s the best one I’ve ever played at so far. Just make sure you bring sunglasses if you end up playing a couple hours before Sunset. The course takes a lot longer to complete than your average course because it’s not only a very long course, but the holes are spaced out pretty far apart, which is actually really cool. To get to the 3rd Tee you have to take a path that goes along with the creek for like 5 minutes! It’s actually really nice and atmospheric. The course itself is so fun to play with an amazing layout. Very challenging run as there are lots of forced carries off the T and on some approaches. Greens are very fast here in June. Don't let the sound of the horse track or the trains or the highways distract you...

We had a private 30-person party in the Valencia Room. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food was great. The space was very nice.

Last time here we had a ranger harassing us for two or three holes about pace of play. They have gps carts, so no clue why they couldn't tell that it was the group ahead of us that was holding everyone up. Even without the harassment, this place was not worth the drive or the money.

Course was in decent shape for the winter although a good amount of browning and greens had been air punched. The round was expensive for off season and not quite worth the tag in my opinion, but I’m sure it’s much cleaner in the spring time/summer. Overall I’d recommend for any amateur/competitive golfer looking to really work on approach shots and FIR play, definitely needed for this track!

Booked our tee time went to the front desk and told us we can’t play! Tell me why 2 junior players can’t play even though with an adult? Even the adult willing to pay her fee?? Tell me why! Ridiculous rules ever seen!

Beautiful banquet room. great staff and food. Used the space for an event and already planning others there too. Restaurant on other side.

This is my first time visiting the country club. We were having our 50th class reunion. The holler we were in was very beautiful I had some they when this all crossed in the one side of the wall we can see the golf course and all the trees and the skyline. The staff they had was outstanding they were very courteous very kind bend over backwards for if you need anything couldn’t ask for anything better.
