In summary

Whitetail Ridge Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained 12-hole layout set amidst the scenic rolling hills of Perry County, offering a peaceful and challenging golfing experience. The staff is frequently noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some visitors mention issues with course dryness due to weather and occasional confusion in navigation, these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience. A few guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of gift certificates and rain checks.

Just a great little course! Perfect 12 holes not 18. Greens are just awesome and the rolling hills of Ohio are amazing. Course a little hard due to lack of rain but very playable! Ponds well manicured. No tee times but didn't have any problem getting right out! Everyone there is very nice and a good hot dog in the end!

Best kept secret in Perry County, Ohio. Rolling terrain and well kept. The staff and owners are always friendly and helpful. Whitetail is a 12 hole course and no tee times required.

Not much rain recently so some parts of the course were a little dry but even still the fairways and greens were in good shape! The course is 12 holes which is pretty interesting! No tee times, first come first serve. The layout can be a little confusing at times but the signage is very helpful! The rolling hills make for an interesting and relatively challenging course. Overall it was in great shape, the pace of play was good and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful! An incredible hidden gem! I'll definitely be back!

Went to this course for the first time today with my two sons and father in law who is over 70 years old .Well just to let everyone know when we went to use our gift certificates for a round of golf the woman who was working took them over to a guy who was sitting in the club house and said he couldn't accept them because at first they were to old and he could only do 15 of the 30 that my son had bought us for father's day but their was no expiration date on these so I wouldn't never give this course a dollar to golf here just because this guy which I think his name was Butch but not sure .He…

Great 12 holes very inexpensive greens are all over the place. They have this rule very strictly enforced if you don’t hit passed the lady tees you have to hit your next shot without pants. I was lucky this time

Great course, even though it only has 12 holes. I love the upkeep of fairways and the green.

I have golfed many courses across Ohio, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina and Missouri. Most of them have the usual expectation. And most of them meet that expectation. But every once in awhile you find one that stands out. This Hidden Gem is worth the drive. A challenging golf experience, with fantastic views and an old time golf vibe in the clubhouse. The fairways and greens are exceptional and I can’t give enough credit to whoever maintains the course. For being a middle of farm country course, what a beautiful place to enjoy a round of golf (even though it’s only a 12 hole course). The yo…

Whitetail ridge has come a long way from where it use to be. The first time I played this course (under different ownership) it was literally a cow pasture and you had to dodge hoof prints and cow pies. Since I live close to here we've watched it develop into a extremely nice course with 12 holes which is kinda nice when you want to play a little extra but not a full 18. Only drawback I found lately is some of the new holes need a little attention and im sure they'll get them manicured into shape in no time. If you want a refreshing country side view with a challenging course you'll find it he…

Overall best course in the area. Well maintained greens and fairways. Staff is awesome. No tee times, but never had an issue getting on. If they offered memberships I’d be the first to sign up.

Very cool little course with great greens, fairways and overall layout. The views were amazing for this part of Ohio. Hats off to whoever designed it and takes care of this place. I will be back
