In summary

Whiteville Country Club, now known as Vinland, is praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, making it a welcoming spot for casual and family-friendly golf outings. The course is noted for being laid-back and affordable, with nice amenities like new golf carts. However, it is a 9-hole course, which some visitors find confusing due to its layout with two sets of tee boxes per hole, and the course conditions, such as small greens and fairways, are mentioned as areas for improvement.

Came down with a bachelor party for quick, cheap round on the way to the beach. Amazing for the value. Very laid back, the staff and everyone else was incredibly nice. Would make this a regular course in the rotation for a good, affordable round if I lived closer.

If you're new to the game, teaching your youngsters or just want an easy laid back fun round of golf, this is the place. You definitely won't be hitting into anyone's yard. Carts are nice as is the manager and the fees are reasonable. Try it.

Booked on line not realizing it was a 9 hole course. Upon arrival they didn’t say anything either. Didn’t figure it out until the 2nd hole. Very confusing course with 2 sets of tee boxes per hole.

It's called Vinland now. The owner and desk guy are nice. The new golf carts are really nice. It's a non challenging course, good for family fun. It's not hard to walk it.

Pretty good rural 9 hole course. Greens are tiny, and fairways in less than excellent condition.
