Excellent small-town, nine-hole, course! Greens are well maintained. I've played the course on three different occasions now, and it's probably one of my top favorites that I've played in North Iowa.

This is a great golf course. It's challenging yet fun. The fairways and green are very well kept and the staff is always pleasant. If you ever thought about playing this course, stop thinking and go!!!

Enjoy the tight fairways, you learn to drive a straight ball.

I've played many good/great courses, and with exception of maybe 1 or 2 others, Wildwood is easily my favorite. The course may be short by scorecard yardage, but it packs in plenty of challenge and interest. Holes 1-3 offer subtle strategic decisions, holes 4-6 will test your shot execution, and holes 7-9 are played over interesting and fun terrain. I would have liked to see the fairway bunkers remain on hole 2, but I'm sure there were reasons (maintenance, cost, etc) for removal. Of its nine holes, I consider at least five of them to be outstanding, and there are no "bad" holes on the course.…

It is a very nice municipal mine hole coarse. It isn't long but it tests your accuracy. Clubhouse staff was very friendly and prices were very fair.

They no longer have the drive-thru area that used to be there. so looks like one would might have to go on a walk or bike path.
