In summary

Willow Run Golf Course is appreciated for its beautiful and challenging layout, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course generally receives positive feedback for its well-maintained greens and scenic setting. However, some visitors express concerns about the poor condition of the cart paths, slow pace of play, and water retention issues after rain, which can affect the overall playing experience.

What a hidden gem! I’ve been driving by it for years and finally decided to go play. Very affordable and the course was in great shape. Cart paths might need an update but I walked 9. Excited to go try the other 9! Beautiful course, definitely recommend!

First time to ever play this course yesterday, Starting off the staff was friendly and welcoming and pricing for golf was great (although I've never been served 4 canned drinks in a plastic bag with ice thrown in it when there's coolers on the bar empty). First hole off the tee and up the fairway found a mud hole, thought it was odd but hey we've had a bunch of rain in the last couple days so onward I pressed. Nope found them all over the course, next to the cart path (which are terrible), short of the greens even in some cases. Not particularly impressed by having to layup on each drive since…

Golfed here on Monday 5-15-22. I will say the course set up is awesome. But as others have said the cart path has more pot holes than all of Columbus. The course itself is pretty well maintained. The sand traps could use some new sand amd several were more like water hazards than sand traps. But we did get some rain a few days before. The proshop had alot of cool stuff in it to buy. The staff was very friendly. Overall a good course just watch the cart paths.

Haven't played to many courses here in ohio, but this one is the best yet, challenging holes, very nice greens and fairways.I will be coming here many more times. Golf carts could use a update that's the only problem I found.

Stopped to play 18 on our way to the US Open. Quit playing after 9, and absolutely zero reason to ever go back. Course layout had potential to be very nice if it was actually taken care of. The moss/mold on the side of the clubhouse and the trees growing out of the gutters should’ve been the first warning. Fairways looked like a demolition derby had taken place in them, and the greens had clearly never had a divot repaired. Very disappointing and that’s before you consider the slow pace of play with groups ahead of us clearly having no etiquette or consideration. Spent more time sitting waitin…

Nice course. Lots of trees and some tough angles and carry’s. The rainfall in Ohio makes for higher ( wet) rough than we’re used to. Cart paths in need of repair - often better to drive on the grass than risk the cart path. Course otherwise in good condition. Pricing is great.

Great good course. Challenging and some very tight fairways. Some fairways need repairing and hikes a lot of water after a rainstorm.

I have been going to willow run almost exclusively for a couple years now. The layout of the course and cost were hard to beat. Pace of play has always been very slow but it was easy to look past that with the price. The price is now $42 on the weekend. There's no starter so people do whatever they want out there. Today there was a group of 6 playing together which completely held everything up. People don't seem to realize you should let others play through either. Everybody plays extremely slow and there's nobody out there enforcing anything. Cart paths are in really bad shape. Again, I us…

Paid $42 per person on a 1230 Sunday tee time with cart for a total of $84 for two. First the course. It's a strange course. Fairly straight for the most part and albeit boring at times. In the course there are several holes that have greens and the next tee box VERY Close together that will cause crossplay and honestly not very safe. Was almost hit several times because of this. Most of the golfers that were playing the course were hacks at best and often balls were all over the place. Second - There was no course management as a group of six was on the course on a busy Sunday afternoon and…

Awesome value! Walking is $20!!! Course is just enough to challenge you, not overwhelming length, and you have to think off the tee for correct positioning into the green complexes. Club house food and drink is superb. Friendly staff!!!! Ham and Swiss is wonderful. Beverages are plentiful and cold. Have played this course for years, many scrambles in support of Pickerington basketball 🏀. Get over here and enjoy a Friday after work round!!!! 5 ⭐️ STARS!!!!!!
