In summary

Windermere Valley Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, offering a great value with its affordable pricing and scenic mountain views. The course is particularly suitable for beginners and families, providing a forgiving yet enjoyable challenge with its shorter, par 66 layout. While the staff is generally praised for their friendliness and hospitality, some visitors have experienced less favorable interactions with certain personnel.

I haven’t played Windermere for a few years and I was pleasantly surprised. The fairways and greens have came a long way. The greens rolled true and putts finished the way they should.I remember the greens being spongy and full of ball marks the last time I played. That is definitely not the case anymore. We will definitely be back.

Played: August 31, 2025 Windermere Valley Golf Course: Old-School Charm and Great Value Windermere Valley is a refreshing, classic parkland course—easy to walk and a great alternative to the typical, high-dollar, mountainous courses in the area. Playing short at just 5,036 yards, the course is flat and firm, boosting confidence for shorter hitters while still offering enough challenge for any golfer. The fairways roll out nicely, which our wives loved, as the shorter holes allowed for realistic chances at par or even a few birdies. It was in good, attractive condition when we played, benefit…

Great value for the course. Fairways were great, greens were fast and fun in the front 9 we played. Quiet Sunday no one in front of us and no one behind. We will be back

Great time here, had an excellent 9 holes for $39. It was a fun course, not super technical but well worth the price. I would recommend this course if you are in Invermere and looking for a fun round!

The course was short, par 66. But we were there with our kids and had a great family golf day. It was surrounded with gorgeous mountain views. Worth it for $35 per adult and kids played for free.

I have played this course a few times, typically in the spring when it isn’t in great shape yet. However today it was in great condition. Both fairways and greens were in great shape. Due to a relatively short yardage even from the white the white tees I always expect to score better but it never seems to work out. It has some challenges. Don’t go too far left off the first tee as you will find that your ball is with hundreds of other in the driving range and good luck finding it! Really enjoy playing the course and find it good value for the price.

It was a really nice short course, we played in September so it was a touch dry. Great course for beginners golfers or groups would plan on playing multiple rounds in a day. Food service at the turn could have been quicker our 2nd group lost their place on the course because of the wait. Maybe just understaffed on the day.

Great course but the older guy who checked us in dampened my groups mood. Talked to us as if we were children and was very impolite. Makes us not want to come back. Everyone else was great and treated us with respect, but for that to be our first interaction kinda sucked.

Good price for the course condition! Some burnt spots but not too bad! Greens were recently aerated.

Absolutely amazing course — and the people make it even better. From the moment you arrive, you’re met with genuine hospitality and a crew that clearly takes pride in what they do. The course itself is in fantastic shape this year: greens are smooth, fairways are lush, and every hole offers a great mix of challenge and fun. Honestly, for the condition it’s in and the overall experience, it’s hands-down the best value I’ve ever seen in a golf course

Probably the best value for all the courses in the Radium, Windermere and Fairmont area. The course was in very good condition, with some easy holes and some difficult holes.

Love this golf course in the valley. We are quite amateur, and find it an enjoyable challenge. The vibe is much more “upscale” than Coy’s, but not so posh that we feel out of our league. You can get vouchers for 18-hole games from Airmiles. Makes it much more affordable that way! Coffee at the cafe is free until 10 AM. The food is delicious and staff are super friendly.
