In summary

Wolf Laurel Country Club is highly praised for its stunning mountain views, well-maintained golf course, and friendly, attentive staff. The club offers a variety of amenities including dining with a diverse menu, a pool, tennis courts, and skiing facilities, making it a versatile destination for both golfers and non-golfers. However, some visitors have noted occasional service issues, such as inconsistent food preparation and communication lapses during power outages.

Nice pool. Two playgrounds, the one has a steep hill with grass so it’s hard to get in and out if you have a hard time walking on uneven ground. Nice tennis courts. Nice bathroom by pool. Clubhouse is kinda boring nothing to do, just a library. There is a horseshoe pit but it’s not kept up on and has weeds growing through with rusted horseshoes. You have to bring your own fishing pole to fish. There was a rude employee at the pool and a friendly employee in the clubhouse. There’s security to get into the facility so that’s a good thing, but at the rear one it could be a bit difficult to enter…

Dinner at Wolf Laurel Country Club was outstanding. Excellent prime rib along with the beautiful amazing fish dinner. Super excellent view from the balcony where we all had a fantastic 2 hour dinner with wine of course. Members only with guests.

Loved this golf course and the folks up on the mountain were very friendly and inviting. The fund-raising tournament we played in was awesome and the views are incredible!

I had the pleasure to be apart of a wedding rehearsal dinner this weekend at the wolf. The service was amazing! Their attention to detail was everything and more! The staff always had a smile and made you feel welcome. I never had an empty drink. The food was to DIE for and they portions were prefect. I would highly recommend this place!

We recently had our son’s rehearsal dinner at this venue. It was absolutely amazing. The food was perfect, the atmosphere, but the staff, they go above and beyond to make your event perfect. Nothing during our wedding weekend matched the service we received at Wolf Laurel. Danny the chef worked a delicious menu for us, and Debi the manager made sure every detail was attended to. We could not have been happier. Already planning son number 2’s rehearsal here!!

Challenging course but well worth a play. Take plenty of balls if you are not so good off the tee. The course conditions were excellent and the pace of play was good. One of the most beautiful mountain courses I've ever played.

Wolf Laurel is one of Western North Carolina's best skiing areas. We have a brand new Lodge this year with restaurants and accommodations. The lift and slopes are five star. There are plenty of Airbnb and rentals so you can stay on the mountain while you enjoy meals at the lodge there's tubing and skiing instructors for kids. There's also Kitty slopes. So come on out to Western North Carolina's best skiing area we hope to see you there

I wasn't a golfer until I played this course. It's beautiful. Even if you aren't a golfer you can enjoy this course. Not only is the course perfection but the fact that you get to see such beautiful landscapes and wildlife, only make it better! Bobby does a great job up there and the rest of the staff is incredible. Highly recommend this to anyone!
