In summary

Woodland Hills Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained par 3 course, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for practicing short games and family outings. The driving range receives mixed feedback, with some visitors appreciating the facility while others express dissatisfaction with the recent switch to synthetic turf and occasional ball shortages. Despite some concerns about drainage and bug issues, the overall experience is positive, particularly for beginners and casual golfers.

First time coming to the driving range. The grass behind the range was completely flooded from rain 24 hours earlier. So very poor drainage. Got some wet feet. We ordered a large bucket of balls, but were told they didn't have any. Which we found strange because we were the only people there and there was 3 employees. We ended up getting 2 medium buckets instead. All of the T were either in really rough condition, or completely missing all together. Even several of the mats were a scew and unaligned. Staff were very friendly.

Great Par 3 course. I have played it 15+ times this year, really great for working on your short game. Course is always in great condition and staff are very friendly. Looking forward to playing here again this week.

Pretty solid course. It's far from Windsor, but oh well it's cheap and well maintained for the price. The bugs are quite terrible at certain times of the year though so cover yourself in bug spray. Like load it on because you'll get completely eaten.

My husband and I became members here last year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Employees where all great and friendly. The course was well kept and fun to play. We are seniors but have been playing golf since we were 12 years old. We felt this was the perfect course for us now. But today we had, unfortunately, a disturbing experience while playing. Three students acting as grounds men were riding 2 carts. The young man in the cart that rakes the sand was by himself. The three of them would meet each other and talk until we started to.putt and then the one doing the traps would wait to turn h…

Great par 3 course! Well taken care of by St. Clair staff and students. They really cleaned up the greens and pro shop! Nice driving range and chipping green. Definitely recommend if you want to work on your short game.

It’s a pretty nice place. The staff are nice and they have some cool drinks that you can purchase while you hit balls. Overall I loved the experience but I had issues getting my tee into ground anywhere. I’d love if they had rubber tees on their mats. Regardless the rest was a really fun experience!

I don't normally leave reviews but I felt like it needs to be done in light of recent changes. This used to be the perfect little course and practise facility. I loved bringing my kids there whole summer and have a fun family experience on the driving range where we can both have some meaningful practise... Well until recently.... They have replaced all grass/turf hitting areas with astroturf for "appearance". You are forced to hit off the mats that are 1/2" thick at best. Absolutely zero chance you are going to use your normal sized tee and hit a driver. Also absolutely no ability to practise…

Update: September 2021: They've now installed synthetic grass at the range which is good for the hackers but not so good for someone that wants to practice hitting off the grass. I stopped in on Friday before Labour Day and they had no balls available to hit for a half hour I was told. Parking lot wasn't full, there were several hitting bays open, but they had no balls available. Only a government run driving range could run out of balls leading into a long weekend. This is a nice little par 3 course that's in decent shape and good for testing out your short game. The practice green is quite…
