The course offers a challenging yet fair experience, enhanced by its picturesque landscape and varied holes. Its a bit of a drive from SF but definitely a golf experience. The vineyard, the lake and the hills adds beauty to this golf course. The greens always fast. It has never been not busy from my previous visits, somehow hurried phase when playing. Looong drives for sure which can be a little intimidating but the par 3s make up for it. The little restaurant and bar they have on site is convenient and good.

I would give this 5 stats except for the pace of play. It took us 5 hours and 15 minutes to complete our round. The group in front was a threesome and there was at least one vacant hole in front of them but the marshal did nothing about it and ignored our complaint. Beautiful course and well maintained.

Beautiful course with great amenities and service. Took a risk today with the rain and got rained out, and they were accommodating with a rain check. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

about hour and a half drive from Sacramento, but wow it was worth every minute of that drive. The course is the best course I’ve played this year and been to around 20+ courses conditioning of it is wonderful. It’s like one of those courses you watch on YouTube but experiencing yourself.

Excellent course reasonably priced. Can get pretty hot so bring sunscreen. They provide complementary water and you (supposedly) call the drink cart while out on any hole. Service is fantastic. The restaurant was a bit slow before our tee time. But we got to go boxes and make it just fine. Great service, the Italian Beef sandwich was mediocre. But the golf course is worth a visit.

One of the best courses in northern CA that is public. Of the review was solely on the course it would be a 5/5 stars. The reason for 4/5 if that the staff can be pretty rude at times. Checking in the gal did not seem very happy but that's fine. We had an early tee time and we had been waiting forever for the downstairs food to open so we could grab something quickly before our round. Patiently waiting we were coming up on our tee time. One of the guys came flying around the corner yelling at us that our tee time was in a minute and we had to go. We told him we had been waiting for the food b…

Great layout, greens in great shape, traps were well maintained, fairways were a little rough. Service was great. Will play again even though it it is pricey.

The best service on a golf course I have had in California. It is insane how nice the staff and amenities are; CordeValle could learn something from Yocha Dehe. Course was in amazing shape and greens are compact (fast). Difficulty in long par 4s, hazardous ponds, and a panoramic hole 6. I'll be back.

I highly recommend Yocha Dehe as a must-golf course if you love within an hour or so. Very friendly staff, pretty decent food, and immaculate golf holes. Each hole is different from the last and there’s a wide variety of difficult shots to be had. The sand traps are perfectly groomed and the sand is very fluffy and soft. Fairways were in outstanding condition and the greens were soft, receptive, and fast. I played on a 100-degree day and the greens and fairways were still soft and damp at 5pm. You can get a great rate during less busy times and a nice discount if you have a Troon membership. I…

I have golfed a lot of places private and public and I would say this being a public course, it was in great condition and designed really well. The greens were a little slow but that is typical for a public course. Not cheap to play, but your money isn’t wasted due to condition of course.

I had some high expectations before my round today because a number of my friends have had nothing but great things to say about this course. It sure lived up to the hype. The staff throughout the course was top notch, all the way from the pro-shop, starter, outdoor crew to the marshal. The practice facilities are great. Nice driving range with equally great mats if you're not hitting off the grass. The short game area is well put together and allows you to practice those tough pitch shot distances that are normally too long for your local practice area. They have a number of putting greens, b…
