In summary

Airways Golf Course and Country Club is appreciated for its affordability and suitability for beginners, with a straightforward layout and well-maintained carts. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about inconsistent customer service and maintenance of the greens and tee boxes. While the course is generally seen as a good value, there are mentions of unfriendly staff and a lack of amenities like a driving range.

So I love the course because I’m just starting out in golf and it’s a good starter course but the people who work here are always rude for some reason. I called to book a tee time for me and my wife for 9 on Sunday for like 9:30. The guy told me they don’t do 9 before 11/noon. Which is funny because I have a photo from 3 weeks before and we did 9 at like 10:15… and before I can tell him okay I’ll change the tee time he hangs up the phone on me. Also when we went three weeks ago we called for food at hole 8 and they forgot and didn’t really seem to care.

Decent course, price makes it worth the play. Adding the back nine for under $10 with the cart is fantastic! Play here on days where I do not plan ahead and want to work on my game for a good price. Go to this local course several times a year.

Went today on a Monday afternoon- got a great price and the guy at the front desk was friendly. Courses were great and seemed well maintained. Will be back!

Great course. Just finished playing 18 holes. Staff were welcoming and friendly. For the price, you won't find a better deal anywhere else. Thank you for a great day of golf.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this course. If you look at the courses in the area, there's a reason it's the cheapest and lowest rated. Do yourself a favor and drive the difference to Agawam Municipal if you want a course that's more well maintained, friendlier, and better in every way except price, which can be very comparable. I can regularly find a hot deal for a weekday 18 with a cart at Agawam for less than $25 after taxes. I called today at about 1:00, asking if I could get in 18 because I wanted a place to play on short notice. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone told me if I w…

The course is fine. Cheap and what you’d expect but that girl behind the counter is the rudest person ever. I hope she is the owner because I’d hate that she represents my business that way. Never had had a good experience with her but the course is fine

The course was in better shape before I played. I like to play Airways. It's relatively flat , which fits my 80+ year old body, and mostly straightaway. If you hit 250-275 off the tee, and have a good short game, you probably would be happier on a more challenging course. On the other hand, if you have only the faintest idea where and how far your ball will go, the wide fairways trimmed roughs are for you. The people are friendly and the carts are kept in good condition. Enjoy.

I love airways, every time I go everyone is very polite, the owners and employees are all very awesome also. The greens and course are perfect and they have a very cool layout of 18 holes. It's a cool place to go play in the rain because they put you on the old course with is a mix and match of some holes between the 2 nines. The price is unbeatable and the carts are top notch. One of my favorite places to play, they have a good system of tee off and the gameplay is perfect, not to fast or slow

First off this is a nice golf course if you want to get out on a week day and get 9 in. I would also like to say they don’t keep up with their tee boxes at all and the greens aren’t the best well taken care of. The ONE THING you have to worry about is, the older woman that works in the club house every so often. She’s very disrespectful and very rude to you from the minute you walk in and that’s a big turn off when it comes to golf. If I can’t play where I’m being respected then why play? I watched her yell at some customers for messing up what holes they were playing, when we first arrived. T…

So I’ve been to this place numerous times and the only reason I keep returning is because it is very cheap. However there seems to be a reason why it is so cheap. First of the tee boxes and greens aren’t well kept, also sometimes I am knee deep in water and mud looking for my ball a week after it has rained. Secondly the staff is very unfriendly. For example, the dude that works at the front desk (who looks like Draco Malfoy’s father) has a serious attitude. It seems like he doesn’t want to expand the game of golf to the younger generation because everytime we walk in he gives us a rude look a…

Nice community golf course. Pretty much a 55 plus clientele. Play is a little slow and the course can be wet after rain. Tough part is the older rangers and staff who try and treat it like St. Augusta and not your local fun golf course. Tons of potential to be fun but the old guys are always on you and treat it like 1950s golf and not 2021. It is worth a play and I often like the course but if things keep going this way they are they gonna run off any under 40 golfers.
