In summary

Allandale Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained 9-hole layout, challenging small greens, and scenic setting surrounded by tall trees. Visitors appreciate the improvements made under new ownership, including a modernized clubhouse and attentive, friendly staff. The course offers a welcoming atmosphere for players of all skill levels, with notable amenities such as fresh-made meals at the clubhouse. However, some criticisms include occasional issues with course conditions, such as dry greens, and isolated incidents of unprofessional staff behavior.

Great 9 hole course, easy walk. Some tees need work, but still a fun place to play. $38.00 golf and cart. The BBQ after 9, good selection of food. Have fun. 🍻

I would give this course a 4.5. Old school Thompson course. Greens may be the smallest I have ever played. Only had 2 GIR cause of the small size. Course was in quite nice condition. Greens were in good shape. First hole par 5 is interesting with a grassy knoll in the middle of the fairway. To the right of the green is a circular bunker with a grass middle. See the pics below. I also posted a video too. Clubhouse is brand with a beautiful patio overlooking the first and ninth hole. Tee blocks had a fancy cut to them. I loved it!!

I have played here since i was young it was always just a course that was nice and fun to play, i had many good times and good memories and i also had many negative experiences so many that i started to not recommend it to friends eventually i ended up kinda boycotting it. Since the course has been bought by the new owners it has been noticeably better. The clubhouse and state of the course has improved not to mention the service, this makes a big difference in wanting to attend. I find myself stopping by just for lunch now or wanting to play more often here! The staff is always very nice and…

Sonja the GM provided us with 10/10 service. A large group of us attended and we were pleasantly surprised. For once tee times were properly spread out and we did 18 with a lunch break after 9. Food is not premade, staff made everything fresh on their Blackstone, honestly the best golf course meal i’ve had in a while. We’ll be back!

One of my favourite places to play golf or to drive a few golf balls. Course caters to all types of players, from beginners to more experienced. Well maintained course throughout. Employees are extremely helpful and very courteous; on the course, in the clubhouse, on the driving range. They respect the players and ensure that they are well taken care of.

I love this course, I alternate between here and Shanty Bay for my weekly 9 holes with my dad. A total gem carved out of old growth forest. Overall experience at the course has improved significantly since new ownership took over last season, the club house is very modern and comfortable. Prices are right and the course is typically in good shape.

I hadn't played here since 2023 and what a change. Very nice new building with a Pro Shop and Restaurant. The course was in great shape - long with smallish greens - and an excellent challenge. It was much busier, due to the new owners changes, but staff were friendly and gave great service. The chicken Ceasar wrap after the round was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

A beautiful old course designed by Stanley Thompson. Much harder than it looks. 9 holes with 3 par fives over 500 yds and 3 par threes, two of which are over 200 yds.

We usually love playing here, it’s conveniently located and well priced. But the greens during last nights round were atrocious.. the tee boxes, fairways and all the greens were dry and in disarray. The real kicker was the Trump photo in the clubhouse, you should be embarrassed to outwardly support such an idiot. We won’t be back at allandale until the orange man is OOO.

the course itself was enjoyable. however, there was a man claiming to be an employee playing. he kept verbally harassing and rushing us, going as far as to stand in front of us while we were waiting on the others to finish their round and proceed to take photos of the group ahead. we even started early, taking less than 10 minute a hole and left with 30 mins to spare at the end. we were making good pace and were still getting verbally harassed by this individual at every hole. the extremely rude staff ruined the overall experience.

Been here twice now and had the pleasure of meeting Kate, she checked us in and helped us out throughout the whole process, we had never golfed at Allandale, just moved to the area from out west so we wanted to find a new course close to us. We had a great chat about the course, who she’s pairing us up with, what drinks we should try, all of it she had answers to everything, I appreciate her, very charming young woman. The course was fair but still challenging (lost some balls 😆) lots of fun and walkable, they have carts and the trolley pull carts available, we walked and carried our bags whi…
