In summary

Anaconda Hills Golf Course in Great Falls is praised for its well-maintained condition, scenic layout with elevation changes, and friendly staff. The course offers a unique experience with its front and back nines feeling like two distinct courses, and wildlife sightings add to its charm. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and a cumbersome check-in process.

Nice course, glad I stopped by. Like some of the other reviews say, it is a little tight on the front and overall this track plays a little short. The back seemed to be a little more open, also with some elevation changes, as the entire course meanders through the hills just above Great Falls. Well kept in all aspects & the people were quite friendly. A good value and definetly worth a play in Great Falls, I enjoyed playing here and will be back next time I am in the area.

What a wonderful gem tucked away in Great Falls. The locals know and love it. Now I’m trying to make sure that if you’re traveling and are with in an hour or two drive please do yourself a favor and stop by. From tee box to greens this course does not disappoint. Sure it’s short. Sure it’s a municipal course. But don’t let those things keep you away.

Anaconda has 18 holes, a driving range, and a putting green. It is a short tight course with hills and trees. The course is well maintained with a large parking lot and has a small clubhouse with a FRIENDLY staff. The clubhouse also has concessions (small but growing) The course is under new management and the feedback from local golfers is very positive. Above all Anaconda Hills is a beautiful place!

Wonderful experience and a top notch staff! Greens are in great shape as well ! The course across the river could take some notes on how to treat the customers like Anaconda does. J.R. Really takes care of the people who have supported the city courses for years!

Wonderful use of the natural landscape giving you elevated tee boxes, risk-reward shots over valleys and knolls and challenging lies. Course knowledge helps though...some hidden greens and blind landing spots. Friendly welcome and reasonable price means as Arnie says, "I'll be back!!"

My favorite public course in Great Falls. It’s a bit longer than the others and a little more varied with hills, trees, and dog legs.

It's not the most popular in great falls but it's my favorite!! Deer and Eagles playing around while being on the funniest course around!!!

Wow! We had already played golf the day we decided to drive over and see this course. Glen was so incredibly welcoming, he encouraged us to use a cart and drive the course to appreciate it. And boy, did we ever! We’ve never seen a course this challenging! Planning to add it to our annual rounds! Thanks Glen !

My favorite course in the area by a long shot. Well maintained and challenging, the front and back play like 2 completely different courses while the origin of the course is tied to the early industrial history of the city. Very natural feeling course with excellent staff, highly recommended!

I've never been to this course and not seen a deer, a bald eagle and a rock chuck, Beautiful place. It's a true story of 9 and 9, the front and the back nines are two different worlds.
