I had the chance to play Applebrook Golf Club with a couple of members a while back, and I already knew it was one of the nicest and most challenging courses around. I ended up playing one of my best rounds—it was still tough, but I had an amazing time. I even nearly had my first hole-in-one on the front 9, but a sudden downpour stopped my ball just a couple inches short—so close! The course is in immaculate shape, and I’d be thrilled to get another chance to play it. Truly an incredible experience!

Different Cheesesteak #1267. Favorite March Cheesesteak Madness judges Dave and Phil reunite to grade Applebrook Golf Club’s cheesesteak. This is the best cheesesteak that will never win a cheesesteak contest. We got a cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. It will never a cheesesteak contest because it comes on ciabatta bread. It is very good ciabatta bread, but ciabatta bread can’t win you a cheesesteak contest. This is a great example of great steak and great mushrooms bringing out the best in each other.

This is the nicest golf course I have ever played at. Bunkers are the size of Texas. I had a great time. It poured rain too which made it even better.

Atmosphere is rustic, staff was really nice. I have yet to play the course but it looks wonderful, The cigar area on the course looks awesome. And last but not least the food was most enjoyable.
