In summary

Olde Masters Golf Club, now under new management, receives praise for its friendly staff and affordable pricing, making it a welcoming spot for golfers of all skill levels. The driving range and practice facilities are appreciated, but the course itself is often criticized for poor maintenance, with many noting issues like dirt tee boxes and narrow fairways. While some enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and nostalgic charm, others find the course conditions and lack of organization frustrating.

Absolute terrible experience. Course was in terrible condition. Mini golf was in terrible shape. But most of all, Doug’s behavior was beyond unprofessional — it was outright disgusting. He was rude from the start, snapping at customers and acting like everyone was an inconvenience. The worst part was hearing him curse at kids who were just trying to enjoy golf. There is no excuse for an adult employee to speak to children that way. His attitude was miserable, hostile, and completely unacceptable for anyone working in customer service. If this is the standard the pro shop is okay with, they ser…

This is primarily a note to my future self: Do Not fall for the trap of playing this course. I know it's tempting; a walkable 9 for under $30, conveniently located near Philly, perhaps some nostalgia from my teenage years. But you will not be playing 'golf'; you will stand on platforms of baren earth instead of tee boxes, your mis-hits will be lost to stagnant water running adjacent to sewage systems, and your good hits will either be knocked down by overgrown tree limbs or rolled along dirt (no fairways) into rocky, off-balance lies. This course is not for anyone who knows the difference betw…

This place is in horrible condition, even after years the greens look horrible and there is more dirt than grass, the 9/18th holes green is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life, it it impossible to make a putt because of the giant slope that takes your ball right into the bunker, which is also horrible. If you are in the Delco area it is best you take your money to M golf or Paxon😡

I play at Valley View in the mornings before I go to work. The course is in fantastic shape. The greens are running true, there is sand in the traps. Brian, Carl, Sean, Patrick and Amanda are always so helpful and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Whether you have been playing golf for years or are looking to get started, this is the place to go! You can work on your swings at the range, practice chipping and putting on the practice green and then go hit the 9 hole course to see if what you practiced is working!

If you’re looking for a golf experience that’s relaxed, welcoming, and full of character, this is the place. I recently had the pleasure of playing here again, and Im always thoroughly impressed by what this small course has to offer. The layout is fun and manageable, making it perfect for golfers of all skill levels. My brother and I play here a lot and Sean is always a pleasure to deal with.

Valley View is a great 9 hole course that is perfect for playing before or after work. The course is in good condition and it is a great way to improve your iron and short game. Everyone working is very helpful and you can’t beat the price of both the course and the driving range.

My father taught me to golf here when it was called “Old masters.” New management has improved the course and now it’s a go to 9-hole for me. Wish there were more places like this with helpful staff, good prices, walk up and play style, along with a driving range and putting green all in one spot.

Course is really coming along, and the driving range is a gem. New owners are extremely dedicated and friendly - an amazing place for golfers of all ages and levels.

This course will always hold a special place in my heart. I had never been on a course before and was working up the courage to play, but wanted to try it out here first, and I'm glad I did. There's no tee times, it's first come, first serve. It's nice to know you can play right when you want to with tee times, but when I was starting out this approach was a lot less intimidating and made it easy to just show up whenever and play whenever. The staff that work here are extremely cool and can answer any questions you have. $40 for a cart, or $20 walking. Which seemed like a bargain at first, b…

This place shouldn’t be more than $10 to play. The worst conditions I’ve ever seen on a course. The tee boxes are straight dirt. But they do have a sand trap on a green, very nice and creative.

The staff at this course are friendly, laid back, and helpful, which made for a pleasant experience when first arriving. The driving range is decent—nothing fancy, but it delivers what you'd expect from a standard range. Unfortunately, the 9-hole course itself is disappointing. Many of the tee boxes are just compacted dirt, with several fairways covered mostly in dirt rather than grass. While some of the greens are in okay condition, others are poorly maintained and frustrating to play on. The course design is also problematic—it’s extremely narrow, making it very difficult to stay on the fa…

Definitely not worth the price. Course is sub-par and not manicured or maintained. Booked a tee time and had to wait 30 minutes just for carts, then waited another 20 minutes to tee off. No one is managing the back log, players are running up on each other. Staffer comes out and tells everyone to play faster…maybe if they had tee times and someone managing the start times there wouldn’t be 20 people waiting to tee off at one time. There are far better courses at $40 for 9 holes. Just don’t bother!
