Paxon Hollow Golf Club

Challenging 18 hole course reasonably priced with beer cart. Greens are lush even in the fall. Nice and hilly. We walked the course. There's carts available. Check-in was friendly. Finished with some food and cold brews at Anthony's at Paxon Hollow. We had the spicy chicken sandwich and chef's selection Philly port which was a portobello mushroom with cheese steak meat sauteed onions and green peppers, cheese, and drizzled with spicy ketchup.

Small but well maintained course about 30 minutes from Philly. Greens are pristine. There is a nice club house that overlooks the 18th hole. Very big parking lot as well. Easy to get too.

New renovations are great. Only 3 holes allowed for carts on the fairway on front side. 75 yards before most greens, no carts. There has been no rain in a week. The people who set these rules, dont concern themselves with the players. I dont play here often, it will stay that way.

A very interesting course. Shot makers will flourish. Some drivable par 4's are very tempting. Smart play is a must here especially on the back. Truly enjoyed playing here and the restaurant on site was outstanding.

Attended a Bridal Shower and it was very nice. Food was excellent. We did a brunch/lunch and everyone was pleased.

I am so fortunate to have met Tom Fairlie who is a golf pro at Paxon Hollow. I have been trying to become confident and to enjoy the game of golf and it’s been a challenge. I have had lessons with pros from private clubs and never really found them helpful. I have a long way to go, but Tom is the perfect person - the perfect pro - he is practical, engaging, funny, authentic, easy to learn from, and just a delight to be with. Just called to book a single for a Wednesday morning and was told I had to wait till the day of to book a single. (“It’s just their policy”) then hung on me while I was still talking. Joe in the golf shop is very rude and needs to watch his tone!

We've been to quite a few weddings in 2022, I might be biased as this was our wedding - but honestly, the best coordinator, Melissa... the best food, and drinks... everything was top shelf, above and beyond expectations. I truly did not want to plan the wedding, I wanted to hire someone to do it all for me, but this venue made it SO easy... they already work with a specific florist and bakery (both were just as great and easy) so it takes a lot of stress out of the planning. I booked 3 separate yet consecutive tee times for me and 11 of my friends to play here. I booked them a week in advance since I knew it landed on a holiday. 3 hours after I had received a confirmation and I got a phone call saying they have to cancel my tee time because they have an outing at that time yet they forgot to pull the tee times down from the website. Now since it is a holiday everywhere is completely booked for the times we could play and we are stuck wasting a holiday not golfing. You cant imagine the anger all of us feel

No military rate for veterans close driving range to public but open for lessons. Went to hit a few balls with my iron elderly man on range with to young boys and turned to me said, the range is closed and open for lessons only. Got nothing but elderly attitude and 70 bucks of slow play. Golfers hitting 2 and 3 times off tee box and play was backed up. Not once did i see a ranger but the cart girl was available and pleasant.

I enjoyed this course because it was well maintained and unique. The changes in elevation and variety of dog leg lefts and rights made each hole feel new. Would definitely play here again. Bonus, the fish tacos in the restaurant were superb. Super bonus… despite the difficulties of this course (water, sand and general out of bounds) I shot my best 18 hole score here.
