In summary

Arkona Fairways Golf Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and scenic setting, offering a mix of challenging and forgiving holes. The course is noted for its shorter length but compensates with narrow fairways and undulating greens, providing a fun challenge for golfers. However, some visitors find the pricing high relative to the course's condition and amenities, with occasional reports of slow play and maintenance issues such as deep rough and poorly managed cart paths.

Whilst at the Rock Glen RV Resort decided to have a look. Great prices and a lovely course. Not the most challenging and quite forgiving which was exactly what I needed. Hired a set of clubs for $15, bought tees and balls and off I went. Lovely and lush fairways with well kept greens. The 19th has sports, food and good beer. What more do you need? Weather maybe. Had two days here, one drizzle and one sunny but really enjoyed both days.

Disappointed – Not Worth the Price Paid $80 for 18 holes with a cart, which is way overpriced for what you get. They even asked for a tip on top of that, which felt excessive. The course was packed, resulting in a very slow pace of play. Bugs were everywhere, adding to the frustration. The front nine was nothing special, though the back nine was a bit more enjoyable. However, the rough was deep and unforgiving – easy to lose balls even on decent shots. Overall, not worth the premium price. There are better options out there for less.

Had such an amazing time @Arkona Fairways Golf. What a great facility and golf course. Shorter than average, but it makes up for its distance with narrow fairways and small undulating greens! A fun challenge for any golfer. Course was soft lush and playable.

Beautiful setting and I’d call it a hidden gem but 4 inch rough around the greens is insane. The greens are a challenge and fun so you don’t need US Open rough. The pins need to be moved each day so donuts don’t form around each hole making putting impossible. I don’t know if better maintenance is needed or a different philosophy.

For $80 I expected a better kept course! Greens were in awful shape, fairways had grass clipping everywhere. The greens keeper were extremely rude also, had the cart slightly off the path and was asked if I knew how to read.

Played this a course a couple of times this year, most recently this past Sunday. On both occassions the course was in great condition. Don't be fooled by the short yardage from the tips. Keep in mind that this course has only 2 par 5s and par is 68. This course is challenging. The greens are in great shape, and have lots of hills and undulations making approach shot placement crucial if yoiu want to score well. The food is average for a golf course, but the friendly and attentive service that our group received from both Maya and Brook more than made up for the limited menu offerings.

Greens are okay, no one seems to care to fix there divots. Fairways are the same. The ruff is not kept up, grass is way too high. The grounds and the up keep of the course needs a lot of up keep. No where enough posted signs on the cart paths. The cart paths need, some serious attention. I give it a 2 star rating for the price. I’m sorry but I will not be attending this course anytime soon, unless I here there has been improvements made.

Not a bad short course. Greens are nice. Layout leaves a lot to be desired (more distance). Easy course if you’re decent at golf. Definitely really expensive for the course. 45 is appropriate with a cart. 63 is insane! Much nicer courses for cheaper!

Hole design is well done, interesting and challenging, making good use of the natural terrain. Although the course is not a long one, the challenge is maintained by having good length of grass if you get off the fairway and some slope in your lie. There are a few times on the course where a slice can land your ball on the neighboring group coming up a Fairway. And this is the reason why I did not give it five stars.
